I was really looking forward to visiting Dolcette, especially since the restaurant presents itself as a traditional spaghetti house from around 1900. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to that promise.
The food we received was cold and lacked flavor, which was very disappointing. It felt as though the priority was to move guests through as quickly as possible — especially with the long line outside — rather than to focus on quality. The service seemed rushed, and the overall experience gave the impression that getting people in and out was more important than providing a good meal.
The concept of the restaurant is charming, but the execution fell short. It’s a shame, because the atmosphere itself has potential.
I truly hope the team takes this feedback as encouragement to put more care into the food and overall experience — with a bit more attention to quality, this place could be something special.

Dolcetto serves up the best Italian cuisine London has probably ever seen. Everything we ordered had a homemade feel to, and their tomato sauce is the best I've had at any restaurant. We were there for a special occasion too, which I mentioned when booking online. Sure enough the staff were made aware of that and they saw to us very very well. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back. 5/5 no notes.

Went here yesterday night to celebrate my birthday. This place was phenomenal!! I got the Linguini Di Mare and it did not disappoint. Our server Cameron was very nice and made the experience much more enjoyable, very friendly and made it a great dinner out. Thanks so much Cameron.

I went here on my first date with my now girlfriend, our waiter I couldn’t quite catch his name but is was a super kind Portuguese guy, bald. Anyways, he made the entire experience for us super nice and kept the vibe romantic for the both of us. He was incredibly nice to us, the food was incredible, complimentary bread is always a plus :)
