Waited on hold for 20 minutes and ended up calling on my phone while my husband was still on hold. They said they were closing ... And food would be an hour and 50 minutes IF WE came in person ..... How?? It's 10 to 8:00 now. Super upset as a REGULAR.... Horribly rude and disrespectful.

Been coming here about 27 years and always enjoyed my meal. I've met the owner on numerous occasions and he's simply the kindest, generous guy you'd ever meet. Will be supporting Great Wall Chinese moving forward as both owners are family. Thank you Dragon Gate!

One night I went in and saw my grandparents eating there. They asked if we were eating with my parents who just got takeout. 4 generations of our family had Dragon Gate one night! We went to our favorite spot for the last time. Sadly they are closing (retirement). We have gone there about 30 years. Thanks Dragon Gate!

Hadn’t been to Dragon Gate for many years and happened to be in that end of town - thought we’d grab some dinner with a family member who hadn’t tried Chinese food before. Was disappointed we couldn’t dine in but placed a take out order. The building itself and inside looked a bit run down compared to previous years when there was dining in but the young gentleman at the counter was welcoming and friendly. The food was super hot, very tasty and can’t beat the price! Would order again. Was disappointed that there were no fortune cookies as I wanted my family member’s first experience to include a fortune cookie. Maybe you have to ask as I just assumed they would be included in the bag of food. Overall, a nice treat!

My parents ordered $90 worth of food upon coming home and serving food out they found an eaten chicken wing in their box of deep friend pork When my mom went back to show them the food they offered to give them more food but of course after finding something like that she was not taking more items, to which the poor girl at the counter had to be the one to tell my mom that they were only refunding her for the deep fried pork, the manager wouldn’t even come out of the kitchen to address this situation which was completely unacceptable. $90 dollars worth of food went to the garbage and not refunded after such a disgusting experience. Shame on your dragon gate my parents who were regulars will not be returning and we’ve also reported this to the health unit as well.

Overall disappointing experience Sweet and sour sauce more like a soup in thickness not a sauce. Veg fyued rice had a few mushrooms and a couple of pieces of onion and celery. Portion size very small, normally when ordering for our family of three we have enough left over for 2-3 meals, barely have enough for one….all the sauces in the ribs and chow mein hides how little food you get Fried Wontons were over cooked Online menu us difficult to read Pluses Chicken balls although small had a lot of meat HG ribs had good flavour
