Great service, if you ask for any type of digestion they'll ask you if you like spicy or not, that's the best service ever, polite people, they take your order and they'll give it to you in less then 10 MNS is top notch this place highly recommend

As far as Chinese food goes they're just kinda subpar, high prices and fairly bland.
The real thing which gets this negative review is the obnoxious advertising they do. You park anywhere in the east end and you'll inevitably get one of their ads carelessly stuffed into your door handle. It genuinely makes me annoyed everytime I drive past this godforsaken place now because of that
Eastgate used to be the bomb. They've become arrogant and have let their quality slide the last 6 months. If anything is wrong with your order, even missing an entire dish you paid for, too bad for you. They've become so cheap. $80 order and one single soya sauce and one single plum sauce. How do 3-4 ppl split one soya sauce. They never give even one lemon slice with fish !! And prices have jumped 4-5$ per dish from just a few months ago. I think they have cashed in on the fact that there is no competition in the immediate area, but they've really gone downhill recently. Very VERY disappointed on them now.

If you're looking for fantastic Chinese food in London, Ontario, East Gate Chinese Food Restaurant is a solid recommendation whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout. I've tried numerous dishes from their menu, and every single one has been satisfying.
Their special house fried rice is a must-try – it's incredibly flavorful. You also can't go wrong with their wings, available in both dry and honey garlic styles. Other standouts include the classic beef and broccoli, the perfectly crispy garlic chicken, and their delicious orange chicken.
Beyond the great food, East Gate offers reasonable prices and consistently friendly, fast, and helpful service.

My wife walked in and ordered dinner for two, but seated the chicken balls for ribs. She also added Singapore vermicelli noodles and mixed vegetables. We got home, and noticed that we had been charged for the extra $5.00 for the chicken ball, rib swap, plus and extra charge for an order of chicken balls, which we did not get. The food was very good, but I wish that we received what we paid for. In the London traffic's, we live too far away to just turn around and go back. We will definitely think before heading back.
When ordering take out, they always forget something.

I ordered food for my family, went and picked it up. Over 100 dollars for my order. Went home and realized they mistakingly forgot my sweet n sour ribs. I called and made them aware...and they basically said to bad for me. I was even willing to drive back for them. They said I should have checked my order before leaving. Now would I really make a fuss if it didn't happen. It's a 15 dollar dish that I paid for and did not get. Won't be back again. Rather go to a honest establishment. Thanks for stealing from a used to be loyal customer

Shared update. We found a GEM.
It's is cheaper - larger portions and things like sides are included. We LOVE IT!
This place you are over priced, and the meal and flavours are not there - like the person doesn't taste for flavour and it comes out for consumption.... Just bleh.
1.5k people should know -- there is better.
Staff are arrogant. Friendly at first -- but forget repeat customers and treated us poorly on our last visit.
LAST VISIT.
Parking: ♿ accessibility is fine.
Kid-friendliness: Not really .......... The staff get glitchy.
Wheelchair accessibility: ♿💯 should not be a problem.

I gave the rating for food a 2 star because I was pretty dissapointed with the meal. I had heard great reviews about this place so thought we'd try it again. The portions were alot smaller than last time. The chicken fried rice and chicken chop suey had barely any chicken in it. It also lacked much flavor. The egg roll tasted burnt inside but the chicken balls were delicious. We ordered the dinner for two for $40 and there unfortunately no left overs and we still were hungry. I will say I'm pretty dissapointed as Chinese food is expensive and a treat.

Portion sizes are very small, you get more bang for your buck elsewhere. Trust me, you'll be disappointed.
