The food is great. The portions are definitely smaller than in the past. In my opinion, Forrat’s used to be a unique experience in london. The new renovations, pickup counter for dine in (no servers), plastic cutlery and takeout containers downgrade the experience significantly. A disappointment if you’ve been before these modifications but I can see how it would be appealing if you’re looking for a dessert pickup.

I'm sorry to say that after my most recent visit to Forrats, i was sorely disappointed.Recently it has become similar to take out where you pay beforehand and you pick up your order once it's ready.You can say goodbye to sitting down, getting a glass of water, and having your crepe or fondue served to you on a plate with actual silverware. Moreover, your food comes in take out boxes and you get wrapped plastic cutlery. I will say the boxes are environmentally friendly which is a plus.But, what I really enjoyed about Forrats was the atmosphere. I'm sad to say that with this major change, I don't think I'll be coming back for a while.

Very disappointed. Recently renovated, Forrat’s changed their cozy/restaurant style into a very self-serve ‘lazy’ one. The new pay-first system, delivers all food and drinks in plastic cups and containers. Felt very cheap and environmentally unfriendly. We were asked if we would like whipped cream on our hot chocolate and instead received frothed milk. I don’t know what happened, but I liked it before:(

I have been a few times before and always loved the food and atmosphere.However, they have now changed all of their dishes to single use takeout containers, including cups and utensils. I feel this really cheapens the experience, not to mention how environmentally unfriendly it is. /is this really the direction restaurants should be going in? Even at starbucks you can get a real mug if you are sitting in. As a result, it seems that you get a lot less chocolate for your fondue. I would definitely hesitate to come back unless they switch back to real dishes.

Wonderful food! I wanted to reinforce how tasty the beef crepe is, and it brings back a very good affective memory of Brazil. I come all the way to Woodstock just to eat here. Mark, is there any possibility that you could keep this crepe on the menu, PLEASE? :)

I’ve only ever had the fondue from here, and it is so good I’ve never wanted to try anything else! I’ve been in with friends and also ordered takeout, and it’s been delicious both ways. The restaurant is a little small, but you don’t feel crowded in at all. This is my go to place when I’m craving something sweet and I will definitely be returning!

Went with a friend last night it was SO cute. Delicious menu but VERY sweet. We each ordered a crepe, her the Caramelt my Heart myself the The Triple Threat, and we split the Halal chocolate fondue. We ended up ordering extra fruit, the quality was 10/10. I’m not lying when I say it’s sweet though, make sure you get a glass of water on the side ?

We ordered hot chocolate and Forrats Brownie. The brownie was super delicious with the chocolate and cookie dough ice cream. The initial person who welcomed us and took our order was extremely polite and wonderful. But later, while we were having our food one of the waitress approached ONLY US and not any other table who were there before us and completed their food, to take our plates and drink while we had food left in the plate and eating them. This made us feel a bit of racism as we were the only brown people there in the crowd. So we left 2 mins after that without ordering more.BUT, the food is extremely delicious and the price is also affordable.We would have had best experience if we had not faced this incident.

Worst ever! We ordered a tripple threat waffle but the caramel was frozen and making it really difficult to even chew it. Had to leave the most part.Not going back.UPDATE :This is my bill from yesterday. As I told you when I called you, This is a legit review from a genuine customer. Great dessert place to spend with family and friends. Ambiance and food goes well together. Definitely a nice spot to hangout and spend core memories with loved ones.
It was the first time we went to this place.I was disappointed with the no sharing policy. I understand that businesses shall have different policies to support thier business models but telling your patrons they can't share is not welcoming.Lastly, I ordered a hot chocolate that took approximately 20 mins to make and by the time it was served it wasn't hot but warm.My experience wasn't enjoyable.

It was Tuesday morning, wanted to get my coffee somewhere else and I came to FORAT. The coffee was the BEST, and the croissant and dainish we ordered was second to none, so fresh and flavourful like unbelievably delicious. The smell in the lounge was so amazing that elevated the mood.I am so happy that we have such a wonderful place in London.This is the place where you can have quality time and enjoy fresh crepe, croissant, dainish, hot chocolate.Thank you Mark FORAT for providing Londonians with such great experience

While the service was slow, the food was good! The fusion chocolate fondue comes with strawberries, bananas, brownies, marshmallows, Rice Krispies, chips & pretzels. The churrito churro came with delicious vanilla ice cream. A fun discovery for unique foods and experience. There are tables and also seating around a fire to chat with friends.
