We'd been to the Blue Duby, (another of Joe Duby's restaurants) in the past and really enjoyed it. So, decided to try Gnosh at West 5. The Londonlicious menu sounded good. As it turned out, the best part of the meal was the carrot cake. The salad was soaked in dressing, the mussels were good but were topped with shoe string potatoes. Either eat them all first, move them to the plate or eat the mussels first, letting the potatoes fall into the mussel liquid. The risotto was sticky with too much ricotta, but the duck was ok. The boneless beef ribs tasted more like pot roast. We chose to sit outside because it was so noisy inside. The tables are mesh metal which the utensils sit on. Place mats might be a good idea. The white wine was served in a stemless glass. Holding the glass in your hand warms the wine and so would the metal table on a warm day. The service was ok.

We enjoyed london-licious at Gnosh. Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. We had the best meal out in a very long time. The service was great, very knowledgeable staff, helpful and friendly. What brought us to Gnosh was all of the gluten-free options. I had a coconut cream pie to die for. Compliments to the chef, the attention to detail and presentation made our evening even more enjoyable. We will be back soon.

This is the third time we have visited Gnosh at 5West. Waited forever for a server to order drinks and then almost 45 mins later had to go and get the server to order our food. The food was hot and passible in taste although one pasta meal was quite small. Again for drink refills we had to go and get the server. Is the problem staff shortages? Who knows, but we will not be returning.

What a great place. I brought my Mom out for dinner for a late Mother's Day dinner/drinks. The man that seated us - I think his name was Beau, super friendly guy and made sure were seated in a special spot after I told him why we were there. Our server was a gentleman named, Ray. He was very accommodating and didn't miss a beat – if my Mom's glass was getting low, he was right there to offer a refill. In fact - all the servers on that night were amazing at checking in on us and when were trying to decide on a dessert a server named Susie suggested an AMAZING choice. To top things off, the owner, Joe, came and made sure everything was satisfactory and chatted with us a bit. Was such a great night/experience.Thank you, Gnosh!!! We will be back!

My son invited me out for dinner after travelling from 3 hours out of London and what an amazing experience it was!! The service was so gracious and knowledgeable and NO unpleasant attitudes anywhere on staff! Martinis and Leaping Horse Chardonnay let us relax and visit followed by the best muscles and escargot ever!! I savoured every bite of the beautiful Arctic Char and Chris had the Spicy Pad Thai….whew, it was spicy for sure, he said! Soooo decadent and full of delicious flavours in all our choices!! We couldn’t resist their unbelievably moist and delicate carrot cake! Our dinner together was just fabulous especially when we were spoiled by a great friend who shared some time chatting !!We will certainly return as often as we can……but this was a special Mom and Chris time!!! ?Parking: It was raining but busy on Dundas Place with street closed for music etc from Talbot . We took a cab just for convenience to allow ourselves a couple drinks. Beautiful little patio at the Dundas front!!

What a lovely dinner celebration spent with family at Gnosh downtown! Staff were attentive and food was fabulous. We had a private area that offered a nice ambiance and the menu had lots of options (even for the children in our group). Cudos to Samantha who served our boisterous family with such grace. This location is only 1/2 a block to the Bud if you are attending a game or concert. A wonderful choice for casual fine dining!

First time at Gnosh downtown for a celebration with family and the evening was perfect! Food was fabulous and the service was top-notch. The grandkids (under age 12) had plenty of food options. We enjoyed a private area and the ambiance was lovely. Casual fine-dining at its best! It is also 1/2 a block to the Budweiser if you are attending a game or concert.

We had dinner at Gnosh before the show at the Grand when visiting London for the night. Dinner was really fantastic. The service was spectacular, and the cocktails were bang on flavour. If we were locals this would definitely be one of the places we visited on the regular.

My wife and I celebrated a late valentines and Birthday at the downtown location. Our server Bo was very knowledgeable and helpful with our meal selections. He did not disappoint. The bacon wrapped dates, duck sliders, organic burger and rack of lamb were all delicious. Of course it was more food than we needed, but glad we were able to taste them all. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

My partner and I came to Gnosh downtown for our first time on Valentine’s Day. We had great time, with excellent service and incredible tasting food! The flavours in the meals were absolutely amazing and spot on!! Thank you to our server Bo, for being so accommodating and hardworking.. it did not go unnoticed. We will be back!

Gnosh has always been our favourite in London, whether during Londonlicious or not, whether lunch or dinner. Always lots of selection, great servings and oh so delicious tastes! The new location at West 5 does not disappoint. Kelsey is a fabulous and attentive waitress -- totally on her game and so friendly to talk to as are most of the staff we've encountered. Very happy to see this location so busy and such an excellent staff. Great to chuckle at the humourous tongue in cheek cocktail menu - well done! Excited to hang out on the patio this summer too! Pat yourselves on the back, we loved it!

This is by far my favourite restaurant in London. The staff is always incredible and so so kind (Kelsey at West 5 is our families favourite). The owner is so kind and takes time to know and talk to everyone who comes, as well as runs a fantastic business! The food is AMAZING and their cocktails are delicious! The cocktail names are so fun and it’s nice to see a restaurant that’s so classy have a little bit of a fun sense of humour as well! Can’t recommend this place enough?

The service was good, the food was pretty good... The cocktail names, are you serious? For the cost and the attempt to be an upper scale cocktail bar, the names of the drinks seem to have been created by a fraternity. No woman (or upstanding man) wants to say can I have a "Butter face" please???? My second drink, can I have the "basic b******** Come on, I am far from uptight, but these names are just not funny.

Date night at the new Gnosh West location did not disappoint. The menu is the same at both locations, so the food choices were as excellent as expected. I enjoyed the rich risotto and lamb shank, while my date had the delicious beef tenderloin. Let me first talk about the soup. The mushroom bisque is the best I've ever had, and I have a hard time choosing something else when it is on the menu, whereas my date rarely strays from the mussels. Tonight's French onion soup made him very happy though. Having tried most items at the downtown location there really is no bad choice. Cynthia, the chef here, gives a creative flair to everything on the menu. I love the fact that staff are knowledgeable about wine pairings. I appreciate the attention given to our food choices when suggesting an appropriate wine to complement the meal. The decor gives a romantic vibe in the evening, but it is easy to see how bright and inviting it would be during the day as well. Free street parking was available right outside the main entrance. Service was quick and friendly. Joe, and the entire staff, always make us feel like family. Being able to see into the kitchen is an extra treat. I like to take advantage of this when possible as I think the cleanliness of the kitchen says a lot about the level of care taken for food prep and client health. Sparkling clean here! Congratulations on the completion of the new location! We can't wait to see what the Chef's Table and brunch experiences will be like as the restaurant expands the menu. We are looking forward to returning!
