Wonderful food. Great place for a great night out. Seasonal menu, fresh ingredients, something for everyone including vegetarian and gluten free. The wine and spirits list is expansive and marries well with the menu. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Will dine here anytime we are in London.

Excellent service. The food was good but on the minimalist side as the kids complained about the portion sizes. It reminded me of Bono complaining about the huge amount of money he spent in a restaurant with little of the food in his plate. I guess the kids felt the same, considering the outlay involved. All and all, it was okayish. Will one visit again, maybe.

Grace Restaurant recently hosted a private event for 50 of our guests, and it was an exceptional experience! The food selection was delicious, and the service was wonderful - attentive, professional, and welcoming. The cozy and stylish setting made it the perfect space for a small gathering. We highly recommend Grace for any special event!

Fantastic Four-Course Dinner – A Memorable Experience!

Came here to try the four-course dinner, and it was truly a delightful experience from start to finish. The food presentation was outstanding, with each plate crafted beautifully, making the meal feel extra special.

The service was exceptional, with attentive staff ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, adding to the overall charm of the evening.

One small downside was the parking, which was a bit of a hassle—but that’s expected in downtown London. However, once inside, the experience more than made up for it.

A standout dish was the brisket breakfast-for-dinner plate, which was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Every plate was unique in its own way, making the meal a visual and culinary treat.

Final Verdict: A must-visit for food lovers who appreciate great presentation, exceptional service, and a cozy ambiance. Can’t wait to return and explore more from the menu! Thanks for a great experience.

We ordered the 4-course menu. It was delicious, except the brisket, which was not well cooked and it was hard to chew. Taste was amazing. Our server was pretty bad. We sat by the window and had to gave us the cutlery and dishes to pass to our friends. She did not make an effort to walk around and serve each of us. When the dessert came, other servers would serve each of us. Everything else went perfect.

A great dining experience. The monthly wine club is a great night out with personal service. I have been here many times and am looking forward to many more.

My Husband and I have been to Grace 3 times for dinner (Always there 4 course recommended! Always amazing) and Brunch twice (I will say I did get an Espresso Martini that was pretty pricey in the tiniest glass, that was a let down) Food is always so delicious! ABSOLUTELY STUNNING how they plate the food. The staff is always so welcoming and always so nice. Atmosphere is beautiful. We have never felt rushed.
If you're looking for a cheap meal don't come here, but if you're looking does quality and an experience, definitely!

The food was presented beautifully. The cocktails were delcious, our table of 5 each ordered at least two drinks each. Unfortunately there was a long wait between each course and there was one small piece of lamb in my main entree. We brought our friend from California here and he did not eat more than one piece of the brisket because it was so tough but it was flavourful.

Stay away... 3 hours for a simple 4 course meal... the flavours were ok, however, it was so painful waiting forever for ok food. Nothing I ordered needed cooking (same with most of the table). Pickled stuff, cured stuff, nothing that needed cooking, just plating... 45 minutes between courses... just insane. No one at the table particularly enjoyed the food other than saying it was ok, and no one enjoyed the wait. We bonded on complaining about the place. We left as soon as dessert was done, and paid at the bar, because we couldn't wait 45 minutes for the bill.

Grace has always been one of my favorite restaurants in London. This was my third visit in the past four years, and I’ve always loved the experience—beautiful atmosphere, incredible food, and a slow, casual dining pace that allows you to savor every bite. Unfortunately, last night’s visit didn’t live up to my expectations.

The Experience

When I dine out, I’m looking for the full experience: a relaxed, unhurried meal in a gorgeous setting with flavors that make my taste buds explode. That wasn’t the case last night. Our reservation was at 8 PM, and we had plans to go out afterward, but we were in and out within the hour. While quick service is usually a good thing, we had hoped for a more drawn-out, immersive dining experience. Instead, it felt like our food was rushed out, leaving us feeling like we had just stopped in for a quick bite rather than a full evening of dining.

The Food

We started with an appetizer, No Vin-Regrets, which consisted of leeks vinaigrette, smoked cauliflower, grapefruit, prosciutto, and chervil. This dish was absolutely fantastic. The flavors were well-balanced, and the smoked cauliflower was incredible—by far the highlight of the night.

For our mains, things took a disappointing turn. I ordered the Cabane à Sucre, expecting a brisket dish based on the menu description:

CABANE A SUCRE – “Carnavale Festivale Canavale”
Slow-roasted beef brisket, split pea purée, pancakes, ham hocks and baked beans, fried egg, bacon, maple demi-glace.

What arrived was essentially a breakfast platter—baked beans, two pieces of bacon, and a fried egg. Tucked away in the corner of the plate was a tiny 1” x 1” square of brisket. The dish’s flavors were great, but when I order a brisket dish, I expect the brisket to be the star. Instead, the eggs and beans stole the spotlight. If I had wanted a diner-style breakfast, I would’ve gone to an actual diner.

My date ordered the Simmer Down Now, which was described as:

SIMMER DOWN NOW – “Beets with Beets”
Lamb or braised mushroom tagine, potato dumpling, honeyed apricots, roast beet, mint chutney, yogurt (vegetarian by request).

This was essentially a big bowl of gnocchi with tiny, almost unnoticeable shreds of lamb. We actually had to dig around in the dish to find the lamb, which was frustrating. Again, the flavors were great, but the menu description made it sound like a rich, braised lamb dish. Instead, it was mostly potato dumplings with a small garnish of meat.

The Verdict

The issue wasn’t with the taste—everything was well-seasoned and delicious. The problem was that the menu descriptions were extremely misleading. If my dish had been called “Eggs, Bacon, and Beans with a Touch of Brisket,” and my partner’s had been called “Gnocchi with a Hint of Lamb,” at least we would’ve known what to expect. Either the menu wording needs to be adjusted, or the portion sizes should be changed so that the protein is actually the main focus.

Service & Final Thoughts

Our server, David, was fantastic. He was charming, attentive, and had top-notch serving skills. After we voiced our disappointment with the dishes, he graciously comped us two espresso martinis, which was a nice touch.

Despite the missteps, Grace still has a lot to offer, and I know they’re capable of delivering an amazing dining experience. I truly hope they reconsider how their menu is written, because right now, it sets up expectations that aren’t being met. If they can align their descriptions with what actually arrives on the plate, I’d love to return and give them another shot.

Valentine's Day Menu... food was different but okay I suppose. Some parts of the course were tasty (while others were not). However, the main concern for us was two things:

1. They definitely mismanaged the quantity of food and main course that had noodles was measly in quantity. About two regular bite worth of noddles to go with the other portions of the main course which is a bit ridiculous. You could see in the kitchen a lot of worried faces and standing around in the kitchen right before they prepared to serve this one so I think they knew that there wasn't enough noodles for this course and if that was supposed to be normal, again, a bit ridiculous.

2. To add insult to injury, most of the portions were on the smaller side (with the exception of the dessert) to the point that we were still a bit hungry by the end and out about $300 for two people.

Service was good but couldn't hear most of the time as some servers did not speak loud enough. Side seating by door is not as good as environment inside main seating area.

I think I'm done fine dining for a while.

We had a good time but the food was so cold we had to ask to heate it.
Even the coffee was cold.

Came to try out the four course dinner. The food presentation was excellent, the service exceptional and great atmosphere. Parking was a bit of a pain, but that's downtown London for you. The brisket breakfast for dinner type plate was really delicious. I will let the pictures do the talking, every plate was unique in its own way. Looking forward to returning and trying more. Thanks for a great experience.
