Last night, we revisited Hakka Lin's Restaurant at Highbury for the second time, unfortunately, our experience was equally disappointing as the first. Despite giving them another chance, we encountered the same environment worst service, poor food quality, and unfriendly attendants, particularly one female staff member who seemed to have issues with children. Her behavior was rude, and she displayed inappropriate gestures. I must ask, is this establishment a restaurant or a library, as the expectation for silence was unclear? My well-mannered children were spoken to harshly, and we were not provided with basic amenities like tap water or containers for leftovers. The food was stale, with spoiled fortune cookies and poorly prepared fish and chicken. Our dining experience was unsatisfactory, and I would not recommend wasting money here.

I order fish pakora and lollipop chicken they was no fish in the pokora it was full cover with cotting also they were so hard that you can't even break them with hand. Also I ordered chicken fried rice hakka noddle chicken no taste and just few pieces of chicken.
I called this restaurant to ask if the meats are certified halal. The person on the phone said it is certified halal so I inquired where they purchased their meats from. She didn't understand me nor did I understood what she was saying. Then I asked if I could speak with the manager and she said "no manager here". So I told her if she could let me know when would be the best time to call back so I can speak with the manager about this and she was very hostile (throughout the entire conversation btw) and she again said "no manager" and then "bye bye" and hung up on me. Why would I not be able to speak with the manager unless the meat really isn't halal??? All Muslims please do your thorough search before eating at any place that is labeled "halal".

Ordered chicken fried rice. They told that rice will have veggies and chicken. After opening the box: discovered only 3 peas and 4 n half pieces of chicken. There was no taste at all and taste like spicy sand.

Massive language barrier, I myself am an immigrant so won't say the other way but basic understanding is required when it comes to the job role.
