A few days ago, I visited this restaurant for lunch. I ordered sushi and sashimi, and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. While I’ve often heard complaints about service elsewhere, the servers here were genuinely friendly and greeted us with warm smiles. At the table next to us, a young child wasn’t eating anything, so the server even brought the child a complimentary mochi, which is such a thoughtful action. I’ve been to many sushi restaurants, but I rarely see service like this. I was truly touched by how they cared for their guests, and I’m grateful to have a place like this in our neighborhood.

Absolutely loved this place! The sushi that I ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Every bite was perfection. The workers were super friendly and the vibe was relaxed but classy. Easily one of the best sushi spots I’ve been to! can’t wait to come back!

We ordered the bowl with salmon, the food was good, but was served with tuna instead. We commented that it should’ve been salmon but we are ok with that, however, the server argued with us that that’s what we’ve ordered and she shouldn’t be blamed for our mistake, and said that there is a big difference between how to say salmon and tuna and she wouldn’t make that mistake, rolling her eyes and annoyed. We didn’t think she deserved a tip but she has already added it to the bill. Since when a tip became mandatory, tip is earned when good service is provided, which she did not provide. I like to support local businesses but I definitely wouldn’t care to go back to that place.

Sushi was not to my liking but also seems like this restaurant’s response to all the negative reviews regarding tip was to introduce a 15% service charge on all dine in orders- FYI they charge this on the total AFTER taxes so the amount is even greater than just 15% of your actual order. The service charge is mentioned on the bottom corner of one side of the menu. I realized a little too late about the service charge but even then wasn’t prepared for it to be charged on the total after tax. Overall the experience was pretty average and I couldn’t finish the sushi.

We were just here last week. The food is really good and the atmosphere is nice and laid back. I love getting the miso soup here, it has so much flavor. We also loved thw dynamite roll and shrimp tempura roll

The food was actually quite good, but the service was absolutely terrible. From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us with disrespect. One of them slammed the menus on our table without even greeting us and walked away with a bad attitude. No one came back to take our order or check on us. We asked multiple times for napkins and other basic things, but they never brought them. We even raised our hands to get their attention, and they deliberately ignored us.
When it was time to pay, we chose not to leave a tip because of the unacceptable service. Instead of handling it professionally, the server told us that if we weren’t going to tip, we shouldn't come back—that we’re not welcome there. I didn’t stay quiet. I told her that if she had treated us with basic respect from the beginning, we would’ve gladly tipped her what she actually deserved. But in this case, she earned nothing. She rolled her eyes and walked away, extremely rude.
The food may be good, but no meal is worth putting up with such disrespectful treatment. Train your staff on how to treat customers with decency.

Excellent food! The sushi is always so fresh and delicious….and the owners are the kindest, most hardworking people. They truly care about your experience and go out of their way to make your meal great. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. We have been to Hanabi many times over the past year and a half. It is our favourite place to come for sushi in London. If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out. 10/10 everytime!!

I would recommend the sushi, the service on the other hand was HORRIBLE. They got our order wrong and the worker yelled at me In front of everyone for not leaving a tip for a 18$ meal. Apparently it’s so disrespectful and mean to not leave a tip mean while I am literally just a student. I would not recommend this place.

The waitress was so nice and so sweet. She know that I wanna try all of variety of food so she didn’t even serve my order at first because she want me to try something different and new! I love this action and warms my heart! She also called my 14-year-old friend rude because of not leaving a tip even though that my second friend got scammed and paid $10 Her order was $13 by the way. I think it is so right to remind people that they need to leave huge tips as the basic manners of living on earth! I wanna give it 100 stars! now this is the first star! It is so good. I love this place so much! I have never been so happy! not even this happy when people won civ!l war! Not even this happy with my wife delivered my child! Not even this happy when I beat cancer!!! I love it so much!!! Unfortunately, simply giving five stars will not show my loyalty to this restaurant so I will give you guys 100 stars and enjoy your first star out of 100!!!! by the way, I gave the waitress $500 as her tip even though I’m 14 and unemployed so that she won’t call me rude!!! Tipping is basic manners guys!!!!! and remember to tip at least $50 whatever you order!!!!!

I really want to give a six stars because how good it is I have my best experiment ever I can never be this happy in my life ever, but there isn’t a six star option so I gave it a five star in my heart and this extra one star is for you guys take care I hope you guys do well.
