We came in as a family to have a dinner on a special occasion. We started to eat. The food looked good so we started to enjoy. In about twenty minutes I felt sharp pain in my stomach. I was in very strong pain so I basically almost fell face down on table. The working staff saw what was happening and immediately came to our table and didn’t ask if we were done just by being rude and scared they begin to take the food we were eating off the table very quickly so there will be no evidence. I was poisoned with something and they most of know about it. We decided we will never go there again. Roughly after an hour the pain stopped. I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone but it is your choice. I am sharing my experience with you so if you taking a loved one there. Don’t be shocked if something similar could happen. All this happened few years ago I just can’t select the right date. You can take this review as a warning. Thank you for taking time to read this.

Our favorite Chinese Restaurant - amazing food and huge portions. Sadly they have closed their doors permanently. I don't know that there are any other restaurant in London of this quality. Doors were closed since Covid-19 hit last year and they never re-opened. Drove by yesterday and the signage had been removed. So sad!

This place is great for a more authentic Asian cuisine. I have enjoyed it very much the couple times I've had their food.

Love the sticky rice...real deal! Salted squid is good too.

Was in London for a couple weeks and referred by a friend to go. Food was great, good portion sizes, place was quaint, and service was decent as well. Place was quite empty in the evening. Enjoyed it and wanted to go back but showed up 1/2 hour before posted closing and was turned away being told the chef left early. Hopefully that's just a 1 off.

We often go here for lunch. The food is very tasty. It is nice that the menu has so many dishes to choose from.

A great dim sum outside of Toronto's China town just does not exist....until I stopped in at Hong Ping Restaurant many years ago. Now, I never miss a chance to eat here when in London. The sticky rice is amazing (and yes, very sticky). Other than tripe, I've sampled every steamed dumpling (including the chicken feet), and enjoyed their Satay Beef to go. The owner and staff are attentive, making sure your hot tea is plentiful. A nice place to stop in on a cold winter's day.

Fast and friendly service, atmosphere was pleasant. Food was plentiful but unfortunately lackluster covered in a million pounds of oyster sauce and noodle dish had a slight burnt taste. Good service but pass on the food.

We have eaten at Hong Ping many times in last few years and also availed of their home delivery service. Although we live a good 25 minute drive from Hong Ping the food always arrives hot, fresh and packed solid with very generous portions. As we hadn't been in a while and were passing tonight we opted to stop in and eat. Oh Boy, we were not disappointed. First stop was the rest rooms which have been renovated and upgraded so nice and clean The dining room is bright, nicely decorated and always spotless clean.
