The evening was perfect for dining on the front veranda which worked out perfectly. Indoors smelt very fishy so we were happy to be on the veranda and away from the large gatherings.

We had such an incredible experience at Idlewyld! The service was outstanding from start to finish, and we were lucky enough to have the whole patio to ourselves it felt so private and romantic. The atmosphere was perfect, and the chef and staff went above and beyond to make the evening special. The food was absolutely delicious, and every detail was taken care of. We will definitely be going back again. Highly recommend!

Our waitress was amazing! We didn't need to ask for anything... she would come over at the right times and ask if we needed anything. After we paid for our meals she made sure to tell us we were more than welcome to stay and continue our conversation. She had also asked if she would be able to clean up since she would be making some noise while we were in the room and that was more than okay for us. Overall a great experience for us both! Thank you again for the great memories.

My husband and I had the chance to enjoy a meal at the Idlewyld Inn restaurant for the first time yesterday evening for our anniversary. It’s a beautiful property and everyone there is so welcoming and friendly. Our server Katherine was amazing, she ensured everything was absolutely perfect, and it truly was. From the drinks to the main course to the dessert, everything was spectacular. One of the best meals I’ve ever had for sure. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

I love the setting and the service. Some dishes were lacking in flavors. My salad was great, but within our party of 6 there was a Caesar Salad that looked a little less than imperial. The leaves were wilted and it did not look great to me in general. The entrees....uninspiring for the most part. Not horrible, but I guess we all expected better.
Awesome background. I would go back just for that but they need to improve their dishes.

Idlewyld Inn was an excellent choice for a luncheon we had yesterday. Our server was very prompt, friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing, fresh and the presentation was executed perfectly!
Excellent food, service and surroundings. We would certainly have the rack of lamb and salmon meals again.

While the food is good, it is very expensive. Really not good value. What makes it somewhat palatable is purchasing gift cards at Costco at 80%. Otherwise, look for another place.

Wonderful service with a quiet ambiance. Wednesday evening has light Jazz music with a very tasteful BBQ, a filling meal, well worth the cost.

Our only problem was with the menu selection... every item sounded spectacular. We had a hard time selecting what to order! We will definitely have to go back to work our way through the menu. We can highly recommend the Idlewyld for your special evening out.
