My husband and I had the chance to enjoy a meal at the Idlewyld Inn restaurant for the first time yesterday evening for our anniversary. It’s a beautiful property and everyone there is so welcoming and friendly. Our server Katherine was amazing, she ensured everything was absolutely perfect, and it truly was. From the drinks to the main course to the dessert, everything was spectacular. One of the best meals I’ve ever had for sure. We’re already looking forward to our next...
I love the setting and the service. Some dishes were lacking in flavors. My salad was great, but within our party of 6 there was a Caesar Salad that looked a little less than imperial. The leaves were wilted and it did not look great to me in general. The entrees....uninspiring for the most part. Not horrible, but I guess we all expected better.

Our only problem was with the menu selection... every item sounded spectacular. We had a hard time selecting what to order! We will definitely have to go back to work our way through the menu. We can highly recommend the Idlewyld for your special evening out.
