The food is nasty … nothing good comes out that kitchen … the food has no flavour … not cooked with any love or respect … it’s a waste of money.

Very very good. Heard about Island Flavour from a friend. There are two places in New York that I used to go to for jerk chicken and rice and oxtail and rice and this place is on par with both of them. Rice is very good coleslaw is very good, the jerk chicken is nice and tender. Spicy but not overly spicy a lot of flavor.

Soup had flavor had to throw out beef as it was all fat. So pretty much paid for soup water. Funny thing i told myself I wasn't going back after my last upset but was feeling for soup. Serves me right lol

Bought a medium chicken soup there and I'll give it 2/5. Caution- it's spicy! (I'm ok with spicy but how come the jerk chicken had no spicy to it?) Bought "jerk chicken, festivals with steam veg" the food was cold! The jerk chicken taste like bake chicken with jerk seasoning! The festival taste like some pastry from a pastry store 2/5. I came home and had to dump the food. Not authentic jamaican food at all. I don't recommend and will not be returning.

Had oxtail . Was really good. Will definitely be returning. First person that took my orde appeared to be new. Not really friendly or warm. Owner then stepped in. A pleasure. Will definitely return
