OMG how can they even call this a food. Raw chicken smelly curry and briyani was like a rotten rice . I ate few spoons and my stomach hurts now.

1 star because there is no option for 0 and minus stars . WORST EXPERIENCE EVERBiryani - Does not even look like biryani neither from appearance nor from taste. Looked like rice mixed with chicken gravy.. Rice was half cooked and curry served with that tasted like leftover since weeks .. It was sour in taste, almost thrown up.Butter chicken- mentioned they serve it with Pulau , but was served with plain rice. And the chicken in butter chicken was half cooked, it tasted sooooo bad .I never had such bad experience from any of the restaurants. Wasted money and time.

This is my favourite restaurant in the city. I have a digestive problem and couldn’t eat for years, I was on IV nutrition. This was the place I kept thinking of the last few years. I happily returned recently and it lived up to my memories!

Worst Indian restaurant I’ve ever ordered and went to dine personally to see if it was worth it and it wasn’t. If you want to eat at a smelly, roach infested 1970s carpet that stinks like old oil and cigarettes and be welcomed by the little-skinny owner to give you attitude for no reason; this is the perfect place to dine; but not really, I wouldn’t invite my worst enemy to dine at this place, not a single poverished starving person would dare to eat here if it was free.

Total trash food. Biryani is mushi like mushed potatoes, food is tasteless and saltless. It appears it was made in a washing machine. If you love your hard earned money then avoid this place at all cost. l will never order from this place ever again. Paid almost $60 for eating garbage basically. Sooo disgusting.

If you are looking for a good biryani, then this is definitely not the right place. I am from a city called Hyderabad (India) which is famous for the best biryani in the world. The biryani that I had from Jewel of India will not even be considered as a biryani. Firstly, it was made without basmati which was a big surprise for me. Secondly, there was no proper biryani flavour. If was like a tomato rice served with meat pieces. HORRIBLE!!!I don’t know about other recipes.Additional, the person who served the food was so unethical. He said he was from Bangladesh and made a conversation with me and was blaming Pakistan, India and other countries and various religions leaders. How could be have such sensitive conversations.I could have given a 0 star review, but I didn’t find that option.

Beautiful authentic Indian restaurant. Lovely instrumental music plays while you enjoy the most delicious Indian food you've ever had. I recommend the Naan bread and the Chicken Curry. 10/10Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options on the menu!Parking: It's in the middle of downtown so it's very hard to find street parking available. I would recommend just parking in a paid lot and then walking down.

The Jewel of India is the best Indian food in all of London! My family and I have been loyal customers of the restaurant for years, the dishes are amazing, they serve large portions, and they have the friendliest staff and owners. I always recommend the Jewel of India to everyone I know in London or whenever any friends are visiting. 10/10, keep up the great service!

Love their food. We’ve been ordering from JOI for years, and they never fail us. Always delicious and generous portions. This is really authentic Indian cuisine. There are lots of excellent curry restaurants in London, but JOI leads the pack.Vegetarian options: There are so many delicious vegetarian options. And many vegan options too. Much of Indian cuisine is vegetarian by designDietary restrictions: Lots of vegan options. Thank you for offering this. I have asked chef to hold on the oil, and they are really happy to accommodate and without compromising flavour. Thanks chef!!
