What a great spot for lunch!! The atmosphere was fun, the service was excellent and the food was amazing! Our table had the BBQ Chicken & Brown Sugar Sandwich and Haddock and Chips and both were a big hit! Who doesn't like watching fighter planes take off and land while having lunch?

Ordered East Coast Mussels and Curried Zucchini noodles, entree came first after an hour, asked waitress about mussels she pretended i did not order them, then said they would be out shortly, another 20 minutes, Zucchini got cold asked to have them microwaved, mussels were very small, entree also not good to my taste, $60 dollars and 2 hours later. Can't believe 4.6 rating, I could go on and on about how bad it was, don't waste your dollars

We came for lunch and the male employee who was seating us with extremely rude and it was very off-putting. The food was okay but we waited 40 minutes before we could even order our food. Our waitress was very sweet but overall the experience wasn't great.

EDIT*********************** I have always loved the soups here and had an incredible salmon bisque to start. I don't recall the homemade foccacia before, warm and almost too much, can't believe I said that, because it was addictive! Finished with the bison steak, rare and perfect. A touch more seasoning needed for my taste, but that's not always right. Shared some blueberry lemon sorbet for the finale. Will be back again, thanks for the guaranteed dinning experience. Mushroom soup to die for! As always, a delicious and perfect meal in a fun and unusual setting. Today, got to watch fighter jets take off and land with my soup!

I visited during Londonlicious 2024 & the food was absolutely outstanding. Our waitress was exceptional at her job & kept a good balance of making sure we were taken care of & giving us our space to enjoy the meal, which is a rare balance to find in a good server. I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting the London area. Oh & it’s pretty neat getting to watch the planes while you dine.
Casual fine dining at its best ?? Being from out of town, I had a very pleasant experience at the Katana Cafe. The food was very good, the service was friendly, on point and attentive. Works out very well when you’re traveling . I highly recommend this place .

For over 20 yeats I have always loved it here. However, when I went for Londonlicious on July 25th 2024 I was totally disappointed. I had the wedge salad, the BBQ baby back ribs and the upside down strawberry cake for dessert. I didn't not enjoy any of it. The salad was bland they left the membrane on the ribs, cornbread was burnt. The strawberry cake was only 2 inches by 2 inches and tasteless. I'm hoping this was a one off.

I took my son here on Tuesday for an early lunch. It was a surprise as he loves planes. We had an incredible time sitting on the patio watching students start up, takeoff, and land constantly. It was such a fun atmosphere and an incredible idea. The food was fantastic. The server was so attentive as my son has multiple food allergies. The dish prepared for him was perfect and absolutely delicious. it was a beautiful start to an incredible day. I highly recommend enjoying a meal here for a unique experience.

You can watch planes land and take off while you eat. The waitress was good, very personable. Would highly recommend.
