was ok ish, portion is alright, I got the char siu bbq pork w rice. The pork itself was good, nice flavor and texture, however the rice was meh... very plane, should come with some sauce because it is very bland. A nice touch was getting pork soup which was cool, however there was a bone in there..... not exactly what someone expects .... besides that it was good, make those improvements and it should be alright 👍🏻

Excellent food! Got the noodle soup with char siu pork and crispy pork belly. Will definitely be ordering again!

King BBQ the best roast duck, roast pork, bbq pork, and soy chicken in the whole city! The duck sauce is to die for. The price is unbeatable!

Honestly, disgusting and dirty. they never switch their gloves, never clean their knives or cutting block same block used for everything and cross contamination in every meal, meat sludge hanging off the side and knive. They leave food out at room temperature all day. They microwave all the meat to heat it up after it's been sitting out forever then hand it out to delivery drivers. They are rude to anyone that isn't their ethnicity. Their dinning room is filthy.

I don't understand how they ever pass a safe food handling course or a food inspection. This place is disgusting.

Kings BBQ Restaurant Review

BBQ Pork (one pound, $11)
This was the worst of the three but still decent. It had a tougher, chewier texture and a little less flavour. In terms of how it tasted, it was very similar to beef jerky. Rating: 7.6/10.

Roast Pork (one pound, $13)
This was terrific. The owner told me to pour a dark sauce over it, which was sweet like hoisin sauce. Later, she exclaimed that she takes pride in the skin being super crispy. I responded with, “It is! And the meat melts in your mouth.” And there were no bones, making for a great snack to eat anywhere. Rating: 8.8/10.

BBQ Duck (half, $19.99)
I enjoyed this almost as much as the roast pork. The difference: bones. This duck had bones practically in every piece. However, the flavour was just as good. I would describe it as savoury with somewhat crispy skin. I poured sweet plum sauce onto it, which worked well. Rating: 8.4/10.

Location
Kings BBQ is on Adelaide St and Victoria St. Huron is a neighbouring street.

Overall Experience
This is an excellent place to get authentic Chinese BBQ. The owner is expertly skilled at what she does and even explained to me some of the tricks of her trade.

The worst presentation of any restaurant I've been in. Bland lukewarm food that we could hear being microwaved. Ate less than half the plate before leaving and buying dinner anywhere else we could find nearby. Do not recommend.

Delicious roasted duck is always my family's priority, and every time I have a chance to meet friends, I come here to buy roasted duck to celebrate together. Delicious served with noodle soup. Cheap prices, delicious quality food. There is also a dish of boiled chicken that is also very good. The shop owner is cute and enthusiastic. Every time I come home I am very happy and satisfied. Always recommend this place to all my friends. More suitable for takeout than eating on the spot. We also accept orders for whole roasted pork.

The food was delicious. I ordered the roasted pork vermicelli bowl and was given very generous portions. The owner said that he didn't top the entire bowl with soup since he wanted the pork skin to be crispy and even offered to give me more soup if I wanted more!

To be honest, I have been getting food from them since 2017 but since they changed to the new owner the quality of food is going down hill. I purchased half of the duck this afternoon, taste like the food has been sitting for few days already. Taste terrible. Everything is getting too expensive for what you have to pay. Will not come back.

This dirty chinese Maoist advertised BBQ chicken legs for $3.50 but, when I came in they wanted $6 for a chicken leg. WOW! You can buy a whole BBQ chicken from Food Basic for $10.99 fresh. There BBQ chicken legs must be sitting there for weeks.
