We had a Koya in Windsor but years ago closed. We were in London today and amazing! They had Koya. What a delicious find.

Too expensive for what it is, chicken is precooked and sitting on the grill so its dry and hard. Very small sizes for expensive prices. Hardly any vegetables. Mainly paying for noodles.

The portions are smaller than before and the price has increased. I paid $20 for a tepanyaki that was about 70% in quantity/size when compared to the same dish a few months ago. The taste was just average, nothing special. Not really worth trying anymore.

Depending on who makes your food will determine if it’s good or not.
We always upsize and for some reason there isn’t any broccoli or mushrooms. Cabbage is over cooked the sauce did not taste right.
And the chicken was dried out.
Not as good as it use to be!!

I had such a great experience at Koya! The vibe is super chill and welcoming, and the staff were really friendly and helpful without being over the top.
The food was honestly amazing—everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I tried the udon and it was probably the best I’ve ever had. The broth was rich and comforting, and the noodles had that perfect chew. The sushi was also on point—super fresh and nicely presented without being fussy.
It’s clear they really care about quality here, but it doesn’t feel pretentious at all. Just good food, good atmosphere, and good service. Definitely a spot I’d go back to, whether for a casual night out or a little treat-yourself moment. Highly recommend!
