This place was not great. I think most of their reviews likely come from the cool cake designs but their pastries, and desserts were so terrible and overpriced. I asked the staff member what was made in house and she confirmed they bake everything in-house, which is totally untrue. I tried 3 different desserts and all of them were honestly terrible. They tasted weird and were not fresh at all. My recommendation is to listen to the bad reviews .. Don't send these as gifts to anyone unless you don't like them. Not worth the risk or the money.

Ordered a sheet cake for an 80th birthday party. One word- AMAZING!! The details in the decorations were unbelievable. The staff are incredibly helpful - they recommended the Chantilly cake for the older guests since it’s a lighter less sweet cake. Every single guest at the party had and finished their piece ( some coming back for seconds ). In fact the party girl was lucky to save 2 pieces of cake for herself to take home for later. I have ordered a few cakes for different occasions and la cakery cakes and staff always are above and beyond.
This is a stop I make every time I'm in London. I love the Lemon cake.
I actually drove 97km out of my way yesterday for this stop. Totally worth it 🎂

I ordered a black forest cake. not a real one far from it ordered a strawberry short cake. icing nasty. no strawberry s what so ever. they put this very thick fane strawberry jelly. also got 6 other pastries. not fresh. extremely disappointed 😞. my order cost me 49$.49$ town down the toilet. pls don't purchase from this place.
