We had high expectations returning to what used to be our favorite restaurant. This was our first visit back since COVID, and unfortunately, it was very disappointing. There were only 3–4 tables seated, yet our server (Darlin) seemed overwhelmed and was rushing around the entire time. What really bothered us was that she referred to us as “alcoholics” not once, but twice. We found that comment inappropriate and unprofessional. We ordered the chicken carbonara, but it tasted more like a bland Alfredo sauce with very little flavor. It was not what we expected at all. It’s sad to say that based on this experience, we won’t be returning or recommending this restaurant.

Last night we celebrated V day at La Casa with their special event and price fixe menu. I am not sure if this was their first year doing this but it felt a bit disorganized. There were two seating times- we were the later. Us and the others had a wait to get in the restaurant while the first seating cleared out. Once in it was a bit chaotic. I am so glad we had my fav server Darling. Yes that is her name. She made the entire evening. Even our neighbours on both sides were fun and friendly ( it’s a cozy place). We had our choice from the menu. I was disappointed at the second entree as it was a shared one. This was not mentioned. I felt a bit mislead. I truly thought we were each getting 4 courses. Especially when the 2nd entree of ravioli was amazing! The wine pairing was excellent. When I did not want another Chardonnay Darling was all To eager to give me another option. Unfortunately, the entree I chose of sea bass on pasta with scallops was definitely dissatisfying. It was bland and I actually had to ask for salt. Anyone I saw who ordered what I ordered also struggled to finish it. My BF enjoyed his steak. Overall it was such an enjoyable evening. They really worked hard to see everyone. But.. it was chaotic and that was felt. Also when we wanted to pay and leave there was only two POS Machines so there was a long wait to pay. I just wanted out. Just some feedback for future events. Thank you to everyone.

The Valentines Dinner first seating at 5:00 was very disappointing. Very rushed at the end, food was mediocre at best, service was very disorganized and the wines pared with the food came after we ate the food. We were not given our dessert until we asked (our table was missed) when staff started turning the lights on and people started to pay for their meal. When asked for a coffee, I was told the espresso machine was broken.

Had the pleasure of dining here tonight before a knights game!! The Terry Burger is fabulous.. all meat, cheese, onions… no condiments.. only the true burger flavour. The lasagna..to die for.. Caesar salad.. best we have ever had. Our server Darlyn was great fun and really thought it was a nice touch when Chef Olu came around to our table to check in. We will definitely be back!! We went for dinner on Saturday evening and had high expectations as we have not visited since before COVID and we have always thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant.
There were 4 of us and the restaurant was not busy. The server (Darlin) was extremely busy tending to the tables that were occupied as she was the only server there. She did a great job of getting the food to the tables in a timely manner. She is however, a bit over the top - talks a lot and can be a little annoying when the group is trying to chat.
Our food was good. We were disappointed as the pastas were just OK. Mine was very sticky and gloopy and there were only 6 small shrimp. My friends was better but didn’t have a lot of flavour. The lamb was very good and the prosciutto wrapped shrimp was good also. The tenderloin was served on way too many potatoes and wasn’t the best steak ever. Our salads were tasty. The chocolate chocolate cake was delicious. Overall, we were disappointed as the meal was not as good as we had remembered.

We had actually won the Londonlicious dinner for Two at La Casa. We brought my daughter along as well so there were three of us in total. So glad we got to experience this as we don’t get into downtown London very often. However, now that we have dined here, we WILL be back. Dinner was perfect. I had the steak, my husband had lamb shank and my daughter had the shrimp pasta. Steak cooked perfectly and the lamb shank fell right off the bone. Dessert was mouth watering. Our server Darling was the best.. extremely engaging and added so much to a great night out

This Truly was a Great experience with Great Service and a Delicious meal. It truly was a Great Evening with my family. The waitress was very professional and the food was Prime not to mention the dessert nailed it. My Family is very Greatful and Thankful to have such a Wonderful Evening.
