Went there and honestly food was good, everyone was friendly, minus the owner, lady with a white dress shirt.I am concerned the owner isn’t treating the employees well, she seems very rude to them and was to myself, everything was fine with the other workers, they were polite, and went above and beyond. The owner didn’t care to say hi to us or anything and then comes to our table forcing us to pay when we still hadn’t received the rest of our order, provided tip and was forced to give more, I could not tell you how disrespectful the owner is, and I do not recommend this place at all if she will be owner because that is not how you treat people in general, you need to find yourself and be better, instead of being miserable, if you’re tired of the restaurant business move on and make life easier for the rest of London because as I can see your review score is going down, I feel bad for the employees and may they have a new owner who treats them with respect because to me it’s like she talks down to everyone she interacts with, it’s shocking to me you need customers but mistreat them, fix your act and your life, what ever is going on with you is by far unnecessary to apply to customers. STOP FORCING PEOPLE TO TIP YOUR DESIRED AMOUNT, no one wants to deal with that, I hope there’s a new owner so I can return with my family because it’s truly pathetic the way you treat people.

3 people seated at a 2 person table just after the lunch rush by drafty closed doors. floor was dirty with old food and napkin. old asian waitress seated us two tables down from her friends so she could continue chatting with them. only 1 table occupied at seating time. poor service to us because she sat with friends most of the time socializing. had to write own order on back of dim sum sheet. not very good crispy duck. not very good waitress.

As a Chinese, I can tell how satisfying I am for having such authentic Chinese restaurant here in London. Dim sum is not cheap but value for the price. The photo here attached is on order for delivery.

Cantonese Restaurant inside the mall right next to the Chinese supermarket. Had dim sum, sticky rice and other side plates for lunch and the food was great. All the items were made fresh and the service was fast. The decor is slightly outdated but the food is authentic and fresh so that’s all that matters.

Tried this place upon doing a bit of digging for some good Dim Sum offerings in London, was not at all disappointed in the choice. Tried quite a few of the steamed and fried options and all were amazing. Started off with a dumpling soup which was nice and balanced. Tried the duck and BBQ pork plate which was exactly as expected, nice crispy duck with a side of duck sauce and well seasoned pork slices. The sweet and sour pork was what I'd consider a less Americansed take on it, not the standard bright red, but more of an orange sauce with some hot peppers stewed in the dish and a nice round slightly herbed flavour.

Sigh. This is still the best Chinese in the city for authentic and great dim sum. Come, dine in, enjoy the ambiance of stacks of "to-go" containers along the walls. Sadly they seem flustered by skip orders. Our take out order with deep fried spring rolls, egg rolls and dumplings sat unheated on a dining table for 20 minutes before I stepped in. Apparently they sent someone away to pick up broccoli for our sesame chicken dish. Only when I suggested cancelling and refunding did they decide to offer excluding the missing veg and add more meat. I expressed concern that all the waiting food was cold and a worker began to unpack the bag to touch them and yelled they were still hot.... And yes they were a bit warm. But soggy warm is not okay. Sigh sigh sigh. $80 later we brought home (5 min away) deep fried shrimp, spring rolls and egg rolls that were inedibly soggy. Please, they could have told us right away when they had a problem. Adding a bunch of meat while ruining 1/2 the order.... Not okay. I regret not insisting they remake the entire cold meal. But last time when they missed a dish entirely and they asked for 25 minutes, and I insisted that the unwarmed food would then be sitting 40 minutes and that it all needed redoing. All they did was move the old cold dishes to a fresh bag. I hate to give a bad review but twice now. They are still the best for dim sum and authentic dine-in in the city.

My go to dim sum spot in London. Their preserved egg and pork congee (not pictured) is my goto sick food, and their siu mai is my favourite in southern Ontario (aka better than the ones in Toronto). Pretty reasonably priced, even though prices have gone up after Covid.

Terrible terrible service. I wasn’t able to make the skip app work so went to order in person. I asked to order dim sum. They gave a menu with no dumplings at all. Just a “Canadian” menu. I thought I had the wrong place and after waiting about 5 minutes and no one came I went to the car to check if I had the wrong place. Nope, right place. Then I showed the online menu and they then gave me a dim sum (check the box) type menu. Which I filled out. The staff completely ignored me. The woman who gave me the menu looked right at me as I sat waiting and went to rolling napkins. The host stood at the other end of the restaurant and looked at me a few times and looked away.I assume I offended a cultural issue. Me a big burly ginger white man and the only non-Asian.I eventually left.I’ve taken dozens of people here to dine (literally) over the years. Because the dim sum is so good. Is it new management? I won’t be back to find out.

Food here has always been consistent and delicious. They're not too oily like some Chinese restaurants, and their food always tastes fresh. Our favourite is their fresh dim sum. Highly recommended

Neeeee howwww maaaaaa? Came here w the family, been here before, repeat customer. This place is currently undergoing a renovation or else its going for the dingy roof opened up, tiles missing, scaffold look. There is a line of uber eats ppl waiting to pick up orders( def a good sign of popularity and edible food!) We ordered a fuzzy crispy taro thing- delicious Noodles -gooon seiuw yeee mein- good staple to a meal. More like a filller dish. But it was necessary. Sweet and sour pork , to fulfill our white person friend who joined us. It was good! Not too much batter, and fresh tasting chicken meat. Oysters in hotpot was probably the worst dish we got . Smelled like a dirty diaper. Not fresh. Stale. Even my mother slapped it out of my hand to say not to eat it. Spoke to the manager. They seemed to be apologetic as they pointed to the washroom in case we felt the urge to p**** Had a vege dish and dass it. What ruined this often times 3-4 star restaurant was the smelly oyster dish. Otherwise this is a good go to for legit Chinese food in L. Dot. It Has to be , since authentic Chinese ppl fill these tables amongst the backdrop of a construction site

During the lockdown, we ordered take out from this restaurant so we rarely go for sit down. We went this past weekend and the service was awful. From the moment we walked in, the older lady who I assume is the boss because she was ordering her staff rudely to do things, did not make it clear which table we were to sit at. We thought we were supposed to follow the guy and we weren't. I'm pregnant so walking is already difficult enough. She then proceeded to say why would you follow him, the table is clearly set here (all tables are set). We were already unimpressed. During the meal, we needed certain things and asked her to help us and she bluntly said, go ask someone else, I have customers. We also asked for tea 4 times before we got it. Twice by a younger server and once the lady and it took the 4th time to get it.The food quality is disappointing even though the prices went up. We ordered some fried dishes and they were clearly refried as it was so chewy. Many things were over cooked and soggy and falling apart.Thoughtout the meal, it was almost impossible to get help if you wanted more napkins etc. When we wanted the bill, the lady told us rudely to pay up front. Then my partner went to line up and she randomly took the order sheet from him from behind, which startled him and also why was it yanked out of his hands? She printed the bill and brought a card machine over to a table close to ours for him to pay. If they had a portable one, why couldn't she just do it in the first place? The whole experience was beyond disappointing in every aspect. Food, service, experience.

It's ironic that a restaurant with such a simple name has such high quality food. That's what I thought of this place before I ordered from here! This is the best place in London for Chinese food in my opinion, and is probably the one place that could compete with Toronto's Asian food scene. It is the most authentic and the prices are pretty good for the food's high quality. Their Peking Duck is absolutely delicious, as is their beef and broccoli and rice plates. My big complaint however is the service. It is very hit or miss. Sometimes, I'm served courteously and professionally and other times I am treated very rudely. I ordered a takeout order from here once and the server "dropped" the bags in front of me and ordered me rudely to take the bags and go away. Not a big deal in the end to me because the food is great, but this is what could hold them back from growing even more. More consistency in service would bump this review up to 5 stars. Other than that, nice job, London Chinese Restaurant!

Amazing authentic dim sum place in London! Massive portions and live seafood too. Their wanton soup was very flavourful. Our servers were very friendly and service was fast. Will definitely return!

Great place in London to get some very early in the day dimsum. Open at 10am and we were seated just after opening as the only patrons arriving that early. As a result everything out of the kitchen was piping hot and fresh, delivered so quick. Really authentic restaraunt with a menu of all kinds of our favorites such that we will return for dinner. Food was tasty and selection is fantastic. A little pricier than the GTA obviously because of lack of competition but happy to find such a restaraunt having driven up from Blenheim on the day.

Our family went here for lunch. At first the service was a little slow to start. The food was absolutely amazing. After we started to get served the service picked right up and they were very kind and quick to bring us drinks and our food. We would definitely go their again.
