We were there to enjoy dinner and live music (Pete and his band were excellent). The brisket was delicious and cooked perfectly. Coleslaw was very chunky and had a very runny dressing but tasted good. The drink menu has no prices, and now I know why. $34 for two mules made with spiced rum. Two! Ridiculous. The staff were very good concidering they were run off their feet. The place was very cold and supplemental heaters were needed but did little good. The smoker is inside so everything we wore including our purses smelled like smoke. Would we go back? I doubt it.

We came with friends and our 2 3yo girls on a Saturday evening. The staff provided fantastic service! They even ran out to a convenience store to buy a jug of apple juice to serve the kids. The food was phenomenal. We’ll definitely be back

Can't say enough good things about the Nashville North honkey tonk called Lou Dawgs, because they support local music of primarily a country flavor and the menu is the same If they served breakfast , I swear it would be with biscuits and gravy and grits. Their food is country deep smoked and BBQ d. Their food is tangy and the waitress is twangy (sorry about that last pun)

Great food. Highly recommend the tequila lime BBQ sauce with anything you order. Best fried chicken I have ever had. Between the 6 of us we tried pretty much everything on the menu. Rave reviews from all. Wonderful live music. A great evening out. Thanks for the perfect service as well.

Unimpressed. I payed $19.00 and change for a fried chicken burger with a side of sweet potato fries. The burger itself was tiny with one small piece of fried chicken on a pair of buns that were what you would expect from the grocery store. Plain grocery store bought burger buns of very low quality which should not be the case for this price point.Remarkably the burger lacked any flavour and clearly no effort was made to provide for seasoning. I was shocked by how utterly flavorless it was. Poorly executed.The sweet potato fries were actually more flavourful then the burger but sadly overcooked and somewhat burned and bitter with the taste of burned. I would not have guessed the fries where freshly cut as indicated in the menu. Disappointing.Given the poor preparation, lack of flavour and meager size this item is greatly overpriced. I felt cheated. No grown man would be satisfied much less filled with this item. I ate what I could of the sweet potato fries after finishing the burger and wondered at my still hungry stomach. Being $19.00 offered no comfort.Doubtful I will order from this restaurant again after this experience.

Really tasty takeout dinner from Lou Dawgs! Chicken wrap and giant order of the tenderest fried chicken in town. Lots of sides to choose from but especially enjoyed Gabe's new Macaroni Salad. Only complaint? Too full to move after!
