My dad and I loved going to the original owners of the hot Italian chicken sandwich shop, the chicken was huge, it went well outside the fresh bun, and it was so good! clearly new owners are a thing because the shop is filthy, Christmas lights still up, dirt and grime everywhere. No marked prices anywhere, and customer service that was almost uncomfortable. We couldn’t believe that we paid 40.00 for 2 sandwiches that had a jr chicken size chicken breast on the stale bun. Anyways, so sad to see such a lovely place rundown so quickly.Make your own at home, don’t waste the money!

Went for lunch an hour after they opened. Shop was very dirty, employee was smoking out front, never saw her wash her hands or put gloves on. They had a huge pot of sauce on the burner without a lid just sitting out.$40 for 2 sandwiches. Bun was massive and left everything very dry. Fried chicken was very small and was previously frozen.Nothing fresh here or clean for that matter

Tried the sandwiches yesterday to go and called ahead - everything was really good and tasty - the bread is perfect and the sandwich was still hot and not soggy even after half an hour in the bag!We’ll be back !

This place used to be great but now it is just awful!! 33$ for 2 sandwiches that arrived luke warm at best to our table after waiting for almost 25 minutes. There was maybe 2 tablespoons of meat and even less sauce on a ridiculously large dry bun. I threw mine out. This was for sure our last visit.

I really wanted to like this place. I have eaten there twice and both times couldn't finish the food because it was not good.The lady seems nice enoughBoth times she was outside smoking. I'm a smoker, so not an immediate deal breaker. The first time I visited she washed her hands, the last time she did not. However the second visit she did wear ONE glove.The smell when you enter is unpleasant. The lady has visibly dirty fingernails and that is just so yuck.The sandwich was warm, not hot, the onions were raw, and the cheese wasn't melted.The bread fell apart in less than 7 minutes. And the veal tasted like it was fried in old oil.It had no flavour and I was really disappointed as the sandwich was $18+.To be clear i would GLADLY pay that for a delicious veal.Reading the responses from the owner, to a lot of the same complaints is troubling and lacks accountability.I think with more staff and a focus on cleanliness and flavour it could be great. I'll never know because I won't be back, but I wish them well.

Wow this spot has changed. Ordered the chicken and eggplant parm. The lack of toppings and old oil made both of these options garbage worthy. Service was slow and very unresponsive to questions. The store front is in need of a good clean. The overall experience was sad.

Horrible again! The owner told me to come again and that it was just a mistake, but I came again and the food was even worse! Soggy, no salt, and bitter. Hopefully people sort the reviews by newest because I’m not sure hot the health unit approved this place, maybe they just felt bad. Also way more dirty then it was before. DON’T COME HERE!

Been wanting to try Mama's for a while. The service was a tad slow.. but that was clearly because of a rush hour full of (apparent) regulars. My order was taken with a smile and I sat hoping that my choice of steak & onions with the works would be worth the short wait ... I watched the skill and grace of the one person behind the counter as they powered through the rush without missing a beat. Honestly I'm surprised I didn't have to wait longer.. my sandwich came out hot, fresh and flavoured exactly as I'd hoped. When I'm back in London I'll be heading back to Mama's.

Food is good and comes in great portion sizes however the price does not match the value (20 dollars should include a drink and side with sandwich at least).The food is good tho just not an everyday or weekly meal.Went there well someone was training on there first day and I did want I point out the trainer was very nice and mentoring its nice to see employers and managers treating new employees well.
