The Mandarin experience was to put it simply...meh.We came here to celebrate two birthdays and it lived up to the memories as it has been nearly 5 years since my last visit to any Mandarin Restaurant.At $40 per seat the food did not deliver on anything beyond shear quantity of it but the quality of that food was less than it used to be that is for sure.

I came here with a large family of mine and we got food poisoning. The food tasted disgusting and we’ve been sick for a week straight. I am not the only person who had a similar experience with this location, i’ve heard from many friends who felt the same way after eating from this Mandarin location. Absolutely disgusting never coming here again, the kitchen is a mess. and the waitresses have no respect. The warm clothes are made of material from ancient B.C that made a mess on our table.

Special kudos to our server, Felix, who was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel like honored guests. He ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.Oliver, the manager was incredibly helpful. As someone who follows a vegetarian/vegan diet, Oliver took the time to walk us through the buffet, highlighting the vegetarian and vegan options. It’s rare to encounter such thoughtfulness in a restaurant. Oliver's dedication to customer service was evident.The chef graciously accommodated our request for chicken powder-free dishes. Had a great experience in Mandarin for my twin daughters birthday. It was a busy night so thankfully we had made a reservation. Our server Pradip was quick, friendly and efficient. He was attentive, never had an empty glasses and our plates were picked up whenever we were done with food. Thank you for singing the birthday song and the picture came out good. Despite the busy night, we had a great time. Will visit again?

Food was good. We came shortly after opening. Some dishes had food caked on the bottom of the trays, but nothing seemed overcooked. Good selection for lunch, rrally good desserts. The shrimp and snap peas really stood out, egg rolls had really good flavour. One thing I didn't enjoy was it looked like there was some water damage by the windows in room F which we were sitting near. Service was exceptional. Never had to wait for water or our dishes to be taken away. Manager came and said hi. All in all 9/10.
