It was my 2nd time going to Mexicactus and not a disappointment. They were short on staff and apologized to our table. I tell ya, you couldn't tell. The staff worked hard from the kitchen to the bartender to the servers. With smiles on their faces and a good sense of humor and being quick as they can. The restaurant was busy and we had a table of eight. Bravo to all who work there. The food was tasty and fresh, and our margaritas were yummy. I had the seafood enchiladas - fresh, plenty of seafood inside. My brother had the steak Fahitas. He said it was hot and fresh. By the looks of it, I would get that next time. The atmosphere was lively with all tables enjoying their own company. A clean restaurant. The bathroom you have to go downstairs. Parking is difficult, not a big lot, triangle shape size. The restaurant is not big. They have a deck out front for when the nice weather arrives with a small ramp. I would recommend for the weekends to make a reservation. To me, the only negative part is the parking space and bathroom (hard for someone with mobility issues to go up and down the stairs).

The spicy Caesar here is to die for! It was absolutely delicious! The waiter brought out complementary chips and salsa. The salsa tastes great with heavier hints of freshly grown tomatoes. The chips had seasoning on them and were warm and crispy. We then got a bowl of salad with a vinaigrette based dressing, neatly presented, tasty and refreshing. We started our order with Antojitos which is a black bean based dip with salsa and a healthy helping of melted cheese on top. The plate was neatly decorated with deep fried round tortillas that were seasoned heavily. It was delightful! I’m not a bean fan but the black beans here were the best ones I have tasted. Mix that with that fresh salsa and cheese and you have a real winner here!My main dish was a beef chimichanga. It was topped with salsa and sour cream. I ordered a side of salsa which I’m glad I did. The salsa topping was very light on this dish. Furthermore, I requested jalapeños in the chimichanga which was sparsely noticeable. I also wish there was more cheese. It was still a good meal, but I feel these changes would have elevated it. The chimichanga came with a small helping of rice and mashed black beans. Both of which were tasty!Overall, this was a great recommendation. The service was phenomenal! Our waiter was excellent and makes one mean spicy Caesar. I hope to make it back here one day to try a tirade of other great looking dishes. One of the better Mexican restaurants I have tried in some time. Definitely check this place out!

Not recommend.... had dinner with my son there i ordered seafood taco and there was a huge chunk of metal inside my taco, just about broke my tooth. Owner didn't even apologize...and he also insisted that I had put in there myself... never going there again!! Worst place in town..

Ordered chimichangas, not very good at all. Food was also cold and they forgot part of the order. Do not recommend.
