The pastries my dad and grandparents used to bring home and have around the table for any festive occasion. Rum balls, custard tarts ,flan, whole cakes and individual pieces, tarts and other pastries. They also have fabulous lunches, sandwiches and soups or just a coffee and a goodie to go. You can't walk out without a smile and a full stomach or a bag full of goodies to share with family and friends 😊 ā˜ŗļø

Ordered the Tosta Mista @ $7.99 + tax. The grilled cheese ham and cheese was just… ok. Certainly over priced. It contained a small slice of ham and a tiny slice of havarti. Didn’t even cover the edge of the toasted bread.

Great food and reasonably priced.

This is a place you must visit for a coffee or for their Portuguese pastry.

I visited a few months ago and was disappointed with the staff. They were rude and unfriendly, which made the experience unpleasant. I hope they improve their customer service.

(Multiple visits) Ordered: custard tart, mille feuille, chocolate mousse, tambore, guradamapo

Lovely, lovely place! The atmosphere is great, staffs are warm and welcoming, and most importantly, their pastries don't disappoint! Like many recommended, custard tart was especially good. The only thing I can wish for this place is to be located closer to my place lol.

Have driven by this place over the years And have heard how good it is but I finally got in there for myself. Heard they have great cheesecake. That's what took me there.

As soon as you walk in all you can see is this glass case full of cakes and cheesecakes and sweet delights! Then they serve croissants and scones and sandwiches etc, seating area is nice decor and then there's a whole other room for private meetings as needed. The place is huge! And good food! Will be back for more cheesecake and Portuguese tarts!!!

I absolutely love the Nova Era Bakery in London—it's one of my favorite spots in the city. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it always feels like a little escape into Europe. Their pastries, especially the custard tarts, are perfectly flaky and rich, and I’ve never had a coffee there that disappointed. Whether I’m grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a relaxed chat with friends, the food and vibe at this location always hit the mark. It’s a true gem for anyone who appreciates quality baked goods and a cozy, authentic cafĆ© experience.

My first time in this amazing world of baked goods. The staff was super patient with me trying to pick out a few items, from the large selection. After paying the lady asked why no tart??? I said its my first time, I didn't know that I needed tarts lol she packed one up for me and gifted me a tart. ā¤ļø you KNOW it was absolutely devine. Ill deffinetly be back to have a good at more tarts !!
You can tell everything is made with love. Thank you for your hard work and dedication xo

OK...to be honest, I am celiac, so I can't eat foods with wheat. That rules out this place. But the espresso here is one of the best in the city! I go here simply for a great shot!

Absolutely horrible. I got the Nova Cake for a special occasion and it is completely inedible. I was told there is chocolate and strawberry mousse inside VERY CLEARLY by staff, but that’s just incorrect. The inside is essentially flavoured whipped cream surrounded by the driest sponge cake I’ve had in my life. Do NOT get a cake from here or you’ll be very disappointed.

The response by the business is incorrect, it was the ā€œNova Era Cakeā€ from this bakery. I got it as a gift so it’s extremely disappointing and I hope no one is fooled by the good looking outside like was. If you read other reviews, there is another one similar to this so again, save yourself and your $40 and do not buy this cake.

I recently tried the strawberry jam cake from Nova Era Bakery, and it exceeded all expectations. Moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — easily one of the best cakes I’ve had. Highly recommend!
