My Experience at Palasad Socialbowl â A Cautionary Tale
I rarely leave reviews like this, but after my experience, I feel obligated to warn others.
During a visit to Palasad Socialbowl, the woman I was with and I were aggressively confronted by three staff membersâsecurity, a female server, and a man from the kitchen in a blue shirtâover a suspected unpaid bill. Despite having already paid and having the receipt in hand, we were followed outside (on our way to the parking lot) and confronted in an aggressive and unprofessional manner. Security continued to escalate things and harass the woman I was with, despite it being immediately clear that we had paid. No apology was ever offered, and we were not asked to leaveâwe had already chosen to leave on our own before being stopped.
When I called later to report the situation, I spoke to a man claiming to be a supervisor who, during our call, referred to the woman I was with as âcrazyâ before setting the phone down. I recorded this call. Throughout the entire conversation, I was calm, respectful, and clear about the facts. My goal from the beginning was to find a peaceful resolution.
After receiving no response to emails or reviews for a month, I visited in person to speak with someone from management. It was only then that they claimed to be hearing about this for the first time. Eventually, I received an email from upper management promising an internal investigation.
The outcome? I was told that both sides âplayed a role,â despite their inability to identify a single specific thing I did wrong. They claimed they interviewed âregular guestsâ who witnessed the event, yet there were no regular guests presentâsomething my video footage confirms. Their entire âinvestigationâ was concluded within a single day after hearing about the incident a month late. Instead of accountability, they chose to ban meâthe paying customer who did absolutely nothing wrongâfor standing up for myself and trying to address the issue constructively.
I can confidently and truthfully say I did nothing wrong, yet Iâve been punished for raising legitimate concerns. This has been a deeply disappointing experience and a reflection of poor management, conflict resolution, and customer care.
If you choose to visit Palasad Socialbowl, be cautious. If something goes wrong, you may find yourself treated the same way.
You really put the "sad" in my Palasad experience.

Had a super fun night here this weekend! The atmosphere is great and the staff are so efficient and accommodating. A special shoutout to Cameron and Mya who were amazing! Definitely will be coming back.

We've come here for years and this time brought a visitor to treat them to pizza and bowling. The waitress Steph told us after ordering pizzas and calzones that our pizzas would take 40 minutes urging us to change our order several times. We ordered other food while our guests ordered calzones and wings, willing to wait for the calzones. Other waiters had to come and serve us extra drinks. All our food came out at once, 40 minutes later. The food wasn't hot. The chicken tacos were not flavourful. There was ham in the chicken calzone. When we asked Steph about why the entire order came out and why she deferred us from ordering pizza. She said after she took our orders out,the chef was able to accommodate the calzones. Instead of her coming to tell us we could get our pizzas, she let it go so we had to wait 40 minutes for everything (she told us the wings and our stuff would come out first). So we could have had the food we first ordered and a less expensive bill. She refused to serve us after we mentioned nicely that we were disappointed. She never asked how anything was. She completely ignored us after that. We had to go to the bar to pay after waiting. Then we had to get her to give us a box for our takeout. We have been going here for years but very disappointed in this one server. She never attempted to make anything right and literally never came back after the food came. Palasad, you can do better.
The highlights of this place are the quality of it's menu, and the weekly specials they have. I do find some of the menu items to be a little bit pricey, but the quality is very good, so that almost evens it out. I'm not a huge fan of live bands playing while I'm eating or socializing, but if you are, then this place is good for that. I do have to commend them for doing live music, as not many places do anymore. The staff here has always been friendly whenever I've been there.

We had a group event here yesterday evening. Played some bowling, atmosphere was great, we had enough food and more for our group and food was delicious. Eric, our server was great and really made it a memorable night for our staff! Thank you !
