After hearing about this café from a friend, we decided to give it a try for a casual outing. The atmosphere was impressive, with a modern and stylish vibe that felt warm and inviting. The pastry display looked fantastic, and we were excited to explore the menu.

Unfortunately, the service was a major letdown. While the server greeted us warmly at first, her attitude shifted dramatically when we asked for recommendations. As first-time visitors, we expected a little guidance, but instead, she seemed annoyed by our questions. Her tone became condescending as she over-explained basic menu items, making us feel as though we were being mocked for asking a simple question about the café’s popular choices. This unreasonable and dismissive attitude was incredibly off-putting.

Once we placed our order, the server set everything—teacups, teapots, saucers, pastries, and napkins—on the counter for us to carry to our table. This required multiple trips, during which we had to balance hot drinks and delicate items through the café. For newcomers unfamiliar with the layout, this setup felt unsafe and unthoughtful—a hazard waiting to happen. Carrying hot beverages in this manner risks accidents and detracts from the dining experience. Implementing proper table service would significantly improve both safety and customer satisfaction.

On a positive note, the pastries were excellent—beautifully made and delicious. Unfortunately, the drinks didn’t measure up. The tea was overpriced for its quality, and the coffee, while decent, didn’t leave a lasting impression.

Overall, the café has potential, with its inviting atmosphere and standout pastries. However, the unfriendly service and impractical system of having customers transport their own orders overshadowed the positives. Without significant improvements to service, we won’t be returning.

High end pastry shop at North London, delicious, but be aware, it’s pricey. Will recommend for afternoon tea or coffee ☕️

The service here is so slow they are not efficient whatsoever. They have an automatic coffee machine so the coffees aren’t anything special and the pastries are too cold and tough to enjoy.

I heard from a friend of this bakery/pastry place and decided to try it out with my friend. The bakery is elegant and beautiful! We checked out the refrigerated shelf and saw sandwiches, salads and cold drinks. Then we went over to the glass counter with beautiful and delicious looking pastries! We ordered 2 croissants and 2 black teas. The server was nice. However, she proceeded to serve 2 cups with saucers and spoons, 2 pots of tea, 2 plates of croissants, and a container of milk all on the counter without a tray. We had to carry 2 items at a time back and forth to our seats. The tea was good except I wish they had 1% or non-fat milk. Also, for the price of the tea, I thought they could have offered brown or raw sugar. Although, I did ask for honey later. The croissants were crispy on the outside but the inside could be less airy. I might try out the other pastries next time although this is not a cheap place. For 2 teas and 2 croissants, it was $20. So it’s a treat to be able to go there.

I went again and tried their almond croissant. It was good! This time, I asked for honey for my tea 😊 However, I still wished they had 1% or skim milk! This time, the person preparing my order helped me carry the teapot so that I didn’t have to make 2 trips from the counter to the table. I recommend using a tray to put the items on. Maybe you can find some cool French style trays? ☺️

The bathroom is right by all the bread and pastries and all the disgusting fumes from it spread onto the food

Other than price, it's so worth it. With each bite you can tell how much work and thought went into the pastry, I think I melted when I bit into the chocolate éclair and they have a huge variety for you to choose from whether it's pastry or something savoury for lunch

This place has the most amazing croissants!! The pastries are delicious as well as the ham & cheese croissant sandwich. I just think the counter setup is in a weird location you have to try and walk around people paying in order to view the pastries.

I was excited to hear about your new spot opening in the neighborhood. The decor is beautiful, and the food looks absolutely appealing!

However, I wanted to provide some feedback regarding my experience. While the ambiance is fantastic, I found that the customer service fell short of expectations. The staff didn’t seem engaged or enthusiastic, and there was a lack of basic pleasantries—no smiles, greetings, or warm interactions. I understand that everyone has off days, but this made the experience feel less welcoming.

Additionally, I felt that the pricing on your tea was a bit high. For $6, I expected more than a basic tea bag and lukewarm water. I’m all for supporting small businesses, but I also want to feel that the value matches the price.

I truly hope this feedback is helpful as I’d love to see your business succeed. Given the subpar customer service experience, I’m unsure if I’d return, as I want to feel welcomed and valued as a customer.

I'm usually the last person to complain about services as long as it tastes fine, but recent visit was very disappointing, especially customer service. Loved this place since it was at Covent Garden Market, but I don't think I will be visiting again.

I was looking for good pastries in the city and found this place. Spent around $50 on four small items, including a pistachio bruno and cheesecake. Sadly, the taste was terrible. It feels like people rated this spot more for the vibe and artsy decor than the actual quality of the pastries. My rating? Definitely below average. But the staff was super welcoming and friendly!

Impressive. Tables nearest the door are a little chilly, but the pastries and croissants are the real deal. Very worthy indeed.
