Not sure what happened, but this place was great… until our recent visit. I didn’t see the usual chef, so not sure if management has changed, but here’s a few things we found different with the food. The portions were ample, but the flavour just wasn’t there. The food just wasn’t as tasty as we remember. From the Bicol Express to the Pancit… it was just bland. I feel bad now as I’ve recommended this place to other non-asians and I feel I’ve misrepresented. Hope...
The food was very tasty and portion sizes were very generous for the price. Our fav was the pork skewers, it is a must try. If you like peanuts, then try Kare Kare along with their shrimp paste ( on its own it may be a little plain)
I tried pork belly for the first time there just looking for something new to eat. I love pork belly now and the service was friendly. They were excited to know I hadn't tried anything Filipino before!
