This was our first experience of the Pickle Barrel in London. We chose the Pickle Barrel because we have history that goes back to the 70's with the location on Leslie Ave in North York. It was our favorite restaurant for a night out then. We were happy with our meals... My wife had the "Love at First Bite" 3 course meal... she began with a Ceasar salad, then the Salmon and rice... she took the chocolate cake home with her. I had the French Onion Soup, followed by the 7 ounce steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Her meal was great as was mine. The steak was medium rare... perfectly grilled. Our waitress was very attentive. We had a great Valentines celebration. We commend it, and will be going again.

My steak was cooked perfectly. However, I did not find the Caesar salad very good. The dressing was very light, the salad was not covered in dressing & there was no bacon or parmesan cheese in the salad, only crotons. I've had much better Caesar salads.

Our server was amazing! My only complaint is we didn't get our table pickles. Not sure if that's discontinued, but we didn't get it and kept forgetting to ask.

Thank you for a most enjoyable day, we had a great service from waiter up to the manager. The atmosphere and retro music was fitting to us. Enjoyed the mushroom Swiss burgers we will see you again next Saturday .

Quality wasn't great. Seemed more like mediocre diner food. Likely wouldn't go here again or recommend it. The service was good (as in polite) although, felt rushed. Also, assumed we were done and brought us the receipt and machine without even asking us if we wanted anything else. Kinda gave a crummy vibe.

Had a great lunch with our family there yesterday! Food was delicious, our server was lovely and the space is really comfortable. Special mention for the women's washroom - the design ensures total privacy in the stalls, not cramped, clean and bright - well done!!

Took my family out for dinner at the Wellington road location went to order drinks for the family and orders pops for everyone including spouces. Me and my girlfriend was gonna share a pop followed by my mom and dad sharing a pop but was told we aren't allowed to share drinks??? Since when was that a thing?? Like seriously what has this world came to. Latime I checked you were allowed to share.... Oh wait if forgot you loose money
