I keep giving this establishment another go - to try support a smaller franchise - but they continuously keep not providing the full order!
Clearly states 3x sandwich and 3x soup combo… So why would you not provide what was requested?
Literally - and it upsets me to be writing this - every single order has either had 1x sandwich missing, 1x soup missing, or even both!
The order slip informs what is to be provided. Perhaps have your staff use a check mark and actually check/tick the slips once the food has been placed within the bag? (Management 101)

I usually don’t have issues with this place, but after tonight, my opinion took a serious nosedive. I walked in close to closing, but that’s no excuse for what I saw. The soup containers had dried-up, clumped soup caked around the rims—like 2 inches thick. It looked like it had been sitting there all day without a second thought. The chili? Dryer than the desert. It was enough to make me do an instant 180 and walk right out the door.
I used to think they cared about the quality of their food, but after seeing that, it’s clear there’s zero attention to cleanliness or freshness. This isn’t just a bad day—it’s a sign of how little effort they put into serving decent food, even at the end of the day.
If I could give -5 stars, I would. Definitely rethinking ever coming back here.

I ordered an egg salad on an onion bun. I got some kind of a wrap. Not even egg salad. I can't eat it and my lunch time is over. My receipt listed my correct order, so I guess someone else got my egg salad. The wrapped items would not even have been the same shape, so there is clearly very little quality control...

Really amazing chicken noodle soup at a great price. I got a family sized for $8 (after 8 pm), and 2 buns with butter (1.5 each) which were also very nice with the soup. I will be back!

Very unprofessional manager, Rude and dishonest. The food took forever to arrive and when it arrived i found a hair in the food. The manager kept blaming me while being very rude for the hair and would not replace my soup. Overall very dissatisfied with the customer service and the manager. Would not reccomend

Hello fellow users, I had the displeasure of dining at the piping kettle soup co last week. Immediately upon entering, I was greeted by the manager, who looked professional at first, however, as she took my order I could quickly tell that this was a hastily put together act. She was condescending and unfriendly, and I couldn’t help but notice her fake smile, bad attitude and putrid breath.
I ordered the large pulled pork sandwich for myself and a small tuna pasta salad for my kid. While watching her make my order, someone who I believe was her boyfriend skipped me in line, got his food first and then I saw her remove his order on the register so he got it for free (and the total was 61$). Then she proceeded to make my order after removing her gloves. While scooping the salad (which was for my 6 year old daughter who is prone to health problems) I saw that some tuna fell on the counter next to the bowl, and she used her bare hand to put it back in, so naturally I complained. To which I was not greeted with respect or an apology, but by hostility and swearing in front of my child.
After getting my food, which felt like an eternity might I add, I opened the salad bowl and was faced with the most foul odour I have ever experienced. I’m not sure if this was because of the food preparation itself or because the manager might have had something on her hand, but either way as I left I through it in the trash outside. When I got into my truck I told my kid I would get her something from somewhere else, then when I took a bite of the pulled pork sandwich, and the meat was warm on the outside but frozen on the inside.
All in all, I would never recommend this establishment to my worst enemy. God forbid a business hiring competent or friendly workers.

I recently visited the Piping Kettle, excited to enjoy a cozy evening with my family. However, our experience left much to be desired.
Upon arriving around 8:20PM Dec 3 we were eager to order some of their smoothies, but to our dismay, we were informed that they were no longer available. It seems rather puzzling for an establishment that operates until 9 PM to run out of a key menu item just half an hour before closing. This was particularly disappointing since we had all gotten into the car together, looking forward to enjoying a delightful treat as a family.
The atmosphere of the place is lovely, and the staff were polite, but the lack of availability for such a signature offering left us all dissatisfied.
