The service and food were okay—nothing exceptional. However, the biggest disappointment was the beer, which was served warm. That really ruined the experience

Awful edamame. They were cold and clearly made from a previous day. The rest of the sushi was ok. The rolls had too much rice and filler and not enough fish.

Food was exceptional but the attitude of the server when he told us we only 7 minutes to finish our meal because they closed at 9. That was a first for us!!

Nice restaurant. Great variety options in the menu. However tried ramen and it's not good. Too much pepper in the broth, and the noodles were overcooked. Service was good, but we won't come back.

Nice clean place. The special sushi rolls aren’t anything special and they over use the sweet sauces. All 6 specialty rolls pretty much tasted the same.

Oyster mushroom was substituted with yam without telling us. Beef tataki cut too thick and didn't taste fresh. The rest of the food was fine but overall underwhelming compared to Richmond location.

The tables are full but there’s only one waitress in the restaurant. Manager trying to save on labor cost is so stupid. We waited half hour to order the food.

I had high hopes for Plaza Sushi based on its reputation, but my experience was disappointing. The service was incredibly slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. We waited over 30 minutes for our appetizers, and the sushi rolls took even longer to arrive. When the food finally came, the quality was underwhelming. The fish didn’t taste fresh, and the rice was poorly seasoned and mushy.

The ambiance also left much to be desired; the tables felt cramped, and the noise level was surprisingly high for a sushi place. To top it off, the staff seemed uninterested and inattentive, barely checking in during our meal.

For the prices they charge, I expected much better. There are plenty of other sushi spots in town that deliver better quality and service. I won’t be returning to Plaza Sushi anytime soon.

Nasty. No taste, platter was just sequenced together filled with inexpensive cream cheese and toppings. All the food tasted the same. Absolutely garbage food.

We ordered jasmine rice for my kid and give us a cold sushi rice. So we told the server that the rice is cold and not a jasmine rice so the server took the rice bowl told the kitchen staff and they just reheat it on the microwave :( and send it back to us. So disappointing.
The calamari/oyster that I ordered and tempura for my son it’s all frozen one that you can buy it from the grocery store. I don’t do reviews but this time I did. Our plan was going to have dinner at take sushi and the plaza sushi catch our attention so why not try for a change. I’m not going back to that place again.
If you want real food go to take sushi. My family loves take sushi and their food is fresh. And the staff are all very friendly.
