Food is ok. Nothing spectacular. We ordered the brisket at 18$. The order came with a sandwich on a burger bun and was ok. Nothing special. The side was literally kettle chips that you buy at a groceries. Given we were told that the menu was revamped and I do t think it is good value for the price point for the items you get. Previous photos indicate at least fries come as sides and the lack of them does not justify the price point
The interior chair ms were not comfortable to sit on for any long period of time. The patio sitting area is cozy and nice with heaters.
I would not consider this a restaurant as much as a bar with poorly price point food as a second thought

Aaron was, as always, fantastic. Right on top of it! Friendly and professional.

The food we choose was really well done.

Sliding too much into Mexican for us but the main stays are always good!

Lost a customer for life
My daughter and myself came in for dinner after going to the Christmas market at The Factory
We sat at the bar along side another couple who sat the same time we did
Everyone was served drinks menus and no server acknowledged us. I asked a server if we could get some drinks and what non alcoholic options would they have, he said this is a brewery why would you come here if you are not drinking alcohol. He served us two iced teas. He asked another server to take our order she said she would be back. We waited with empty drinks for a very long time. We decided to leave and ask for the bill. The server said she couldn’t be bothered so don’t worry about paying for the drinks. absolutely disgusting behaviour from the staff, all because I didn’t choose to drink alcohol.
Had been to powerhouse for many of their events prior and never had an experience like this. Will not return as a customer ever again
I’ve seen other reviews about people leaving because of slow service and rude staff with a generic message from management saying that they will do better, obviously this isn’t the case. Actions speak loaded then words, so I wouldn’t waste a trip being disappointed at this establishment
Response to owner: there was no miscommunication, your staff was beyond rude!!! We will not be returning. Please take accountability in the staffs actions since people should not be treated like this.Otherwise you will continue to get reviews like this. There is a common denominator here and I’m sure it’s the same staff

Decent beer, but there are better choices nearby. Brisket was a bit of a disappointment. Smoked wings were pretty well executed, and service was great.

I've been to Powerhouse a few times, and while the service and beer are good, the food didn't leave a lasting impression. The interior is creatively designed, though it's on the smaller side, so I’d recommend making a reservation if possible. Overall, Powerhouse is a good spot for a beer, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, especially for the food.

Tailgate @Powerhouse hosted by Going for 2 Podcast.

Ticket $20 plus admin fee. Includes bbq sandwich, side salad and “drink”.
Spent another $45-$50 on beer.
Event started late. 10am scheduled.
Started after 1030am.
Bar staff seem confused on why people were walking in at 10am.
Instructed to order outside as bar was closed.
Unable to use restroom due to fact bar was closed.
No outside restroom provided.
Advertised as “Tons of incredible prizes”
2 total prizes given out.
Bbq meal was good. But
Non ticket purchasers were able to purchase same meal for $10.
Powerhouse staff was informed and brushed off concerns. Advised to contact the event organizers as “Powerhouse did not put on this event, go talk to them”.

Tailgate was garbage. Just lies from everyone involved. 20$ got you a ticket which included a sandwich. Which they were selling for $10 for without a ticket. 10 am start time which no staff or event were ready still mopping the floors at 10 and the bar staff was getting ready for open. Condescending management. They said no tab. So we paid per beer. Then at then end . Somehow had a tab. The post on the powerhouse website had tons of incredible prizes and beer with ticket. Was all lies. 2 prizes of a 4 pack that was a 50 yard bean bag toss. Then powerhouse tries to wipe their hands clean of this event saying they're not involved. Just avoid this place and the headach. Just swindlers.

Travelled all the way across town to visit the brewery. Walk in at 8.30 to be told it’s not busy so we shutting early, by 9pm. Well. You won’t get busy when turning away parties on a Friday evening. Joke. $60 bucks on taxis for a complete waste of time.

Great girls night out! We attended the fall festival over the weekend and had some awesome flights of beer and sat around the fire pits outside. Loved it! All beers were wonderful and staff were friendly. Gracias ?

Great atmosphere and the smell of smoked meats fill the air. Good brews and great staff.

I don't often write reviews anymore, only reason I am is so management could possibly see this. I have tried your establishment half dozen times, the other half dozen I have left due to long queues with lots of empty seating on the patio. This is a Micro brewery correct? so why have you decided to follow a restaurant model? I often head out for a pint or two. At other Micro breweries I proceed to the bar and purchase a pint and continue to find somewhere to drink it on my own. Pretty good business model, no waitress, no hostess, less overhead right.

This model I'm certain has lost you many customers as my friends and I share the same frustrations with Powerhouse.

Especially on the day I was there during the car show you'd think there would be a way to grab a quick beer and hang out on the patio?

Surprised my partner with a guided tour through the brewery a couple of weeks ago, which was absolutely delightful! We both like a good beer, but are usually not too much into trying new ones. The tour was a great opportunity to learn more about the process, but also to try new beers of all sorts. Since it was only the two of us we also got a good amount to "try" :)
Very kind and knowledgeable staff (I sadly forgot your names, sorry) and great patio, with no car noise anywhere since it's in the courtyard.
Only 4 stars because I would've really loved to have dinner there, but there weren't too many options, especially no fries. I do understand why that is the case, but I hope they can team up with another kitchen or cafeteria in the kellogg building, so they can offer more variety.

I attended my first trivia night and was blown away! The topic was amazing (Twilight!!!), the questions were well-thought out and not just standard ones that she found online and the atmosphere was fun! Thanks for hosting such a great night. I look forward to attending more trivia nights in the future!

We just had the BEST first time at Powerhouse trivia!! It was Twilight Trivia, and it was fun but challenging - the perfect mix of questions! The host was great!

What a terrible experience we had! So we booked a table for 5 for a birthday for 630pm. We were promptly seated, our waitress came for our drink order in about 15mins. Ok bit long but no biggie. After waiting for 1 hr 15 mins and asking, our nachos finally arrived. We asked why it was taking so long, the waitress said they were just busy. She offered us pepperettes and pickles, but never brought them. We decided to cancel our orders cause it was getting ridiculous, she offered us discounted meals but at this point we were already late. Also noted that the table of 5 ahead of us got their food within 20 mins. Overall terrible experience, wouldn't recommend. also the Irish ale was just ok...
