I was a regular, ordered food atleast twice a week. However, that had to change due to the quality of the customer service I received the last couple of times from the same employee. I get take out over my lunch break and I call ahead to place my order for pick up as I don’t have much time to wait around. I kindly ask that they provide me with a time in which my food will be ready for me to pick it up and quickly pay for it. The brunette with the glasses at take out does absolutely great, however the other brunette always misleads me into coming in thinking my food will be ready for a certain time and then makes me wait an extra 20 mins. So last time, I asked her 3 times on the phone if the food will be ready by the time she gave me and she confirmed all 3 times that it would be. I even show up 10 mins past the time she tells me and I still have to wait another 20 mins. So when I placed my order over the phone, she told me 25 mins and 50 mins later I received my food. When I asked her to speak with a manager, she claimed there wasn’t a manager in at that time. Then when I explained to her why I place pick up orders and can’t wait 20 mins, she said it wasn’t her problem and tried insinuating I don’t know how restaurants work. I also brought up to her attention that I had asked for not well done chicken and she gave me the most well done chicken I have ever seen, and again she told me it wasn’t her problem. So she’s taking my order wrong and she’s giving me inaccurate pick up times, but it’s not her problem? Should be when you’re misleading a customer constantly and giving attitude rather than providing solutions, or even so much as an apology. The chicken is absolutely delicious but it’s not worth putting up with this. Very disappointing, I even tried calling for the manager on a different day and same girl picked up and told me he wasn’t available again.

Many people were already there meeting each other for coffee/beer/brandy before 11am. What a welcoming restaurant. The young lady serving me was awesome. My hot food was served quickly, and was very good. I do recommend this restaurant. Check it out.

Kelly. You helped make my first experience with The King of Pigs unforgettable! The food was delicious! The sauce… I’m definitely trying the hot next time but holy smokes! So much flavour. The chicken was great too! ?. Thanks x 1000. I’ll be in restaurant soon to give something else a try. Thanks for the custard tart!

Since trying this place out, I now have been here on a weekly basis! The pulled pork sandwich is amazing. It’s so filling and flavourful! They give homemade bread and olives to the table. The service is awesome and the waitresses are very friendly :-)

Been multiple times when I am in London. Seems hit and miss. Had really great food sometimes and mediocre others.

Ordered the chicken burger with side of smashed potatoes and wowie was it ever the best chicken burger I've ever had. I got mayo instead of chipotle because I don't like spice!
If you are wanting the bread before hand, Id advice not to because the brioche bun was massive and delicious ?? my mom has been there numerous times within a month it's that good!

Loved my experience here great Portuguese food we had the pulled pork poutine the pork cutlets and pork ribs with the smashed potatoes absolutely phenomenal and the service and the hostess that evening I believe she may have been the owner of the establishment was out of this world awesome. I highly recommend checking this place out regardless of its location.

We have been getting take out from here for years. Today was definitely our last. The chicken is not barbecued I would beg to differ .. it looks boiled and drenched in sauce and then there is course salt on top! It is so crunchy from the course salt $60On chicken that is barely edible! It honestly used to be incredible
