Always have and always will love Sammy's

Cash only. Pretty good food here. The gyros meal with salad and fries filled me up good. The lady working seems kinda miserable but the food is worth it.

The other location is better in my opinion.

I ordered a large fry and ended up leaving with a medium after the lady told me what I wanted(seasoning salt) was going to be salty and my fault.. because she said that rudely and in-front of other customers I was flustered to say something more. I also asked for a to go container of tzatziki and she gave me a tiny container.
We paid $40 for a gyro, poutine and my supposed to be large fry with feta and seasoning.
Still great food but they go light on toppings and give off a vibe you’re bothering them for what you paid for.

Seems like other more recent reviews have had the same experience with the rude lady, underwhelming toppings and possibly being over charged on purpose.

Out standing. Was cash only and I was 2 bucks short. Sammy let me slide...sweet!

Decided to stop by for a quick bite on my drive home. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the portion size and the fact that this is a cash only place. In addition, when I asked the owner what’s their most popular dish and she responded “I don’t know, you’re the one who’s eating it”. I will very unlikely to visit again due to the underwhelming food portion coupled with the unpleasant service.

Food is great. It's a traditional Greek souvlaki. The costumer service was great!

This is NOT the Sammy's it used to be. The gyros are very, very small now. A gyros is not enough food for a lunch for a man. It's also lacking in toppings. The poutine doesn't come with cheese curds but just grated marble. One would expect cheese curds for $8.75! I originally asked for a gyros without a pita but in a container on some lettuce. NOPE! The lady serving was VERY rude. Other patrons were speaking with us about how RUDE she was and how unaccommodating the entire place was.
The lady taking orders was handling money and then food without washing her hands in between transactions. GROSS!
The food was not great. We will not return. It's a shame, as Sammy's was always a London icon.
If I could leave a review with zero starts I would!
