The food was fresh, flavourful, and perfectly spiced — hands down one of the best shawarma spots I’ve tried. The meat was juicy and tender, the garlic sauce was on point, and the portions were generous. The place was clean, the staff was super friendly, and service was quick. If you’re craving authentic, delicious shawarma, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

The food is horrible. Ordered on Uber eats, the sandwiches were really bad. The saj bread is nothing like the real saj bread. Their bread is thick and chewy, it should be think and crispy. Also ordered the little sides of hummus, after tasting it, I just threw it out. Worst hummus I had ever. Supermarket hummus is better.

I recently revisited Shelby’s after 2–3 years, and I have to say I was extremely disappointed. This used to be one of my favourite spots—I still remember the taste we used to love. But sadly, the food quality and quantity have taken a serious hit.
The portions were noticeably smaller, and the flavours just weren’t there. Everything tasted bland and lacked the rich, satisfying taste Shelby’s was once known for. I don’t know what changed—maybe new management, maybe a recipe overhaul—but whatever it is, it’s not working.
It’s disheartening to see a place I once recommended to others fall so far in terms of quality. I truly hope they take this feedback seriously and work on getting back to the standards that made them stand out in the first place.
