I recently visited Starbucks with excitement to try a popular TikTok-inspired drink, but unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. When we began placing our order, we felt rushed and sensed that it was inconvenient for the barista, Kym, who took our order. After placing it, we noticed her speaking to a coworker in a frustrated manner, mentioning that we used TikTok to make our choice. This conversation happened in a way that was both noticeable and a bit uncomfortable for us, as customers.
Additionally, when we asked if there were any drink sleeves available, the barista preparing the drink responded abruptly, simply stating, “We don’t have sleeves” without offering further context or an alternative, such as an extra cup for better handling.
I appreciate that baristas may face a lot of requests, especially with trending orders from platforms like TikTok. However, a more welcoming and accommodating approach would go a long way toward making customers feel valued rather than hurried. If Starbucks could consider ways to support their team members in handling these types of requests calmly and offer alternatives when supplies are limited, it would enhance the customer experience and likely benefit the business. This experience is not typical of Starbucks nor its team members absolutely unsatisfied!

Worst experience in a Starbucks I’ve ever had.
Empty store, but they didn’t start making my drink until 8 minutes after my purchase when finally piped up and asked if it was being made.
Inbetween that 2 of the workers were gossiping with an off duty one. Their conversation was about hoping someone gets written up. As a former manager, Erica (if you see this), that’s not professional at all.
Received my order with an apology in the form of a cake pop for my son. Take a sip in the car and my drink was burnt. Go to literally any other SBs but this one.

Very good place with awesome foods and drinks and customer service. We ordered a Cookie Crumble Frappuccino (The Best When The Whipped Cream Is Mixed With The Drink), Pup Cup for our puppy’s birthday, and 2 Vanilla Latte’s. They were all very good. The puppy didn’t want the pup cup but it actually tasted good XD, It was all 10/10. The person who handled our order at the drive through was the best customer service I ever saw in the world. Both at the order station and the order pickup. She was very optimistic, happy and energetic and wished our puppy a happy birthday and was very kid friendly, and was smiling the whole time. So nice. Very great experience, would come here again for sure. ?

I have tried to return an unopened mug a next day after purchasing. And they didn’t accept to return it to my credit card. I tried to get help from store manager Alyss, which unfortunately not only she was not helpful but also she was very disrespectful and rode to my absolute right request. I just got the product and returned it in another closet location with no issues.This is so disappointing to see how unprofessional store manager can ruin your time and energy.
