Hubby and I were in the area and popped in for lunch in Friday August 22. We've been before, but we hadn't been in a long time as we don't live close. From the second we walked in the hostess was lovely and seated us, out waiter Louis, Lou-ee, not Lou-is, was awesome, clearly a professional who takes pride in their job. He was attentive without being intrusive, I saw him a few times checking our progress from a distance, we joked about my husband wanting to pay the bill, and Louis waiting for him to return from the washroom to bring the bill, I saw him out of the corner of my eye staying back until he returned, class act. The food was really, really good ! The manager checked in us, what a great dining experience and I don't say that often or lightly. The restaurant was clean, so we're the restrooms ! Well done State and Main !

Been here multiple times. The restaurant is nicely decorated and there’s plenty of seating. My friend and I came on a Tuesday evening. The only comment is that after we ordered, the food took a while to arrive. There was not very many guests at the restaurant; therefore, we expected our food to arrive quicker

I go out of my way to come to this restaurant. Perfect for any occasion! I've never had one bad meal. The staff are absolutely amazing! Chef's kiss all around!

Not a good start. The reservation I made for a party of 4 the previous week got lost in their system (?). I had been told by reception that a reservation was encouraged. I made one but was told on the day that no record was found on the computer. Oh well, wasn't busy so we were shown to a table. Food was only average as was felt by all present and too pricey considering quantity and quality. Likely won't be back.

Friendly service, good food, good cocktails. Had the old fashioned. Although a little sweet for my taste it was smooth! Shrimp apps were good. The lettuce wraps were messy but good.
Always a pleasant lunch experience at State & Main. Great salad and refreshing White Sangria. Server was lovely. Will be back!

The food here is absolutely delicious! I frequently chose this restaurant because of the food and wine selections. The last time I was there they were out of one of their red wines. This time several wines were not available. It is understandable that they can't get the American wines but in the current political climate why would you even offer American wines! There is a lot of delicious wines from all over the world to replace the American wine. Try harder. Elbows up!

Service was excellent! Food was good. Lots of selection. The restaurant atmosphere was hindered by it being very loud. Open ceiling with lots of people makes for a night of yelling to your table mates to be heard.
