Just popped in for a pint after a beautiful walk in Springbank Park. Had a great chat with Tyler, and I will be going back for some live music on Wednesdays, and maybe a little Karaoke on Friday nights. If you're looking for a great spot to pop out and don't want the "Typical" pub vibe, Sweet Onion is your spot in Byron! Cheers! ???

We used to always go to the Sweet Onion on Wortley but they were not able to do take out tonight so we called the Byron location and were not disappointed. We’ve never been disappointed by the food or the service. The staff is very friendly and while we did not dine in on this visit it looked like a very cozy atmosphere. I would highly recommend you try this restaurant. Food was top notch. Thank you Sweet Onion.

Went there with my bridal party for a nice dinner after dress shopping. Ordered the Reuben with no sauerkraut. When it arrived, it had sauerkraut, I tried picking it off but it was shredded so very hard. I also noticed the meat was unbearably chewy/fatty. When the waiter came over, he asked how the food was and I told him there was sauerkraut. He apologized and said he could get me a new one, I kindly asked if I could switch to the fish and chips (really just switching the peice of fish for the sandwich). He said that was fine and it would be out asap as the rest of my party was already eating. Time keeps going by and he keeps coming back saying it’s almost ready, about 30 minutes total of waiting, my entire table was done eating. I was extremely upset and this was visible, he apologized and asked if I’d like it in a to go container as my table was done and I said yes. He said we can offer a free dessert…. Seriously? I waited this entire time to get my food in a to go container, my entire party already ate and finished their meals, and I’m still required to pay my entire bill. I didn’t want a dessert and said that but they said that’s all they could offer. Disgusting service, horrible experience all around. To top it all off, when I got my bill, I was charged for the Reuben instead of the fish. The Reuben is more expensive of course. Horrible way to treat customers.

Went in to see the place and the Rosie O’Donnell and Elmer Fudd love child host dude I tried to ask a question. He said I don’t have time to answer questions… can’t you see it’s 5pm rush. lol. 1 person was sitting in the restaurant on a Tuesday afternoon. Hahah! So I just turned around and walked out. Little did he know I was inquiring about a sitting for 15 people. This place will be closed in a yr. Wait and see!

Cozy, friendly little spot with lots of ambience. Eclectic menu with lots of delicious choices including gluten free. Had a leisurely, unrushed hoiday visit with my sister and enjoyed every bite of food. Highly recommend! Service by Gabriella was perfect! Fun and friendly!

The greek poutine has lamb, chicken or gyro and lemme tell ya this is one of the only places ill be getting my poutines from again. The lamb is SPEDUCCI and OMG. The buffalo poutine was up there too. We love our poutines and this was a spot im going back to. Went at about 3pm took about 20 minutes. Check this spot

Our group of 4 really enjoyed our experience at Sweet Onion Bistro in Byron. Our server was friendly and fun and kept us smiling all night long. Our sangria was exceptional, and the food was fabulous. But what really topped our evening was our "birthday celebration". We loved it!!! Tons of fun!Thank you Sweet Onion Bistro...Our best November Birthdays night ever!
