I highly recommend Taverna 1331. We had an enjoyable evening with a large group of 11, most of which came from out of town. The owner contacted me throughout the week to confirm reservations and made suggestions to make our dining experience memorable. The food was delicious and our server, Amanda, was incredible. She was patient, friendly and fun. Rob the owner, made an effort to greet us as we were leaving to reassure we had a great experience. Thank you for a fabulous evening.

What a lovely experience! Happy hour was a hit. The food was fresh and tasty and our server was lovely and smiley! The calamari had a delicious sauce on it, garlicky but with a kick! Tacos were delicious. Overall, it's a great spot to go too!

My wife and I and another couple went for happy hour two fridays ago! Food was descent, not great but good. Our only complaint would be our server! Instead of just fixing the error on our bills, she made a point of suggesting it was our fault for ordering after five. Wrong! Also, it was the computer’s fault. Wrong! She stated that “she is only human, mistakes happen”. We’re easy going people so after three attempts to correct the bill we were calm but for the future, apologize and fix the bill. People don’t care what the reasons for mistakes are, they just want their bill corrected so they can pay!

We celebrated our two-year anniversary at this restaurant. We ordered both raw and cooked oysters, and they were delicious. We also tried the temporary menu, which was $55 per person for a three-course meal. It seemed to be available only recently. I especially loved the fried shrimp, and the coconut and garlic soup was fantastic! The atmosphere was nice, and I really enjoyed the cocktails as well.

I cannot say enough about this restaurant. We went for LondonLicious and were not disappointed. Our server Aisha, was a joy to interact with. She was upbeat and attentive. Our food was absolutely fantastic and a fabulous price for London Licious! Our ONLY point of challenge to the owners would be to PLEASE do something about the sound in the back room. It was almost impossible to hear each other due to the lack of sound absorbing panels. The aesthetic is wonderful but not at the expense of yelling at each other to be heard. Please consider addressing this situation and know that we will be sending others your way for a delightful experience.

My fiance and I went to Taverna on a recommendation from a friend for their Londonlicious feature. The restaurant was quiet so we had our pick of seats. We unfortunately sat near a door and were frozen for most of the night :(. We ordered from the 3 course Londonlicious menu. The salad was just meh and the soup came out lukewarm We were quickly presented with a replacement bowl by the owner after our complaint which was delicious. Our mains came and the presentation was lovely. One bite into the steak… I knew it would be a struggle to eat this and not complain. It was so tough that my steak knife could barely get through it. The server offered a replacement dish but my fiance was almost done his meal by the time she checked in so I didn’t want to wait and I was so cold at this point. The service was adequate, but lacked making a personal connection and slow on checking drinks levels and refills. The owner never returned to apologize for the steak toughness and left us wondering if he even knew we were not happy. We paid full price with no offer of a discount or any additional apologies from the server. We sadly wont be back after our experience here tonight.

We had an unbelievably fantastic dinner at Taverna this evening! We had a delicious bottle of an Italian Cabernet Sauvignon. Our apps were a lovely oysters Rockefeller as well as the show stopper Korean fried chicken! The cilantro and spicy chillies, as well as green onions and sesame seeds were absolutely divine! Our main courses of beef short ribs and mushroom ravioli were terrific! The combination of Yukon gold whipped potatoes, green beans, beef short ribs, onion rings, and beef gravy are out of this world, next level! The only downside was being asked if we were celebrating anything…we were celebrating a birthday and communicated that, yet it was not recognized…our server did wish us a happy birthday, which was kind, but why ask, if you’re not going to present a small dessert. Anyways, perhaps consider asking staff not to ask, unless you’re prepared to provide a small dessert. It left a bad taste on an otherwise lovely evening.
