Probably one of the worst dinning experiences I’ve ever had which is disappointing considering how “fancy” the restaurant is supposed to be. As soon as we entered the building (group of 4) we were treated as less then for no reason. The only thing I could think of is possibly the way we were dressed (toque and hoodie). We were all polite from the start but it was not reciprocated. Short answers and generally just an unwelcoming treatment. Dirty looks from the staff the whole sitting as we watched others customers being greeted with open doors and handshakes. Food was great but left feeling very judged, disappointed and unwelcome…. Will not recommend, will not be going back.

We went for dinner Halloween night for our anniversary. It was amazing. Out server Jordan was great! Helpful, fun to speak with. Every staff member that we had the please or interacting with was beyond wonderful. The food..there wasn’t anything we didn’t find amazing. Calamari and Korean fried chicken apps amazing. Lamb shank was so tender ..no knife needed and the meal felt like a warm hug. Depth or flavours were incredible! Husband had the tuna and loved every bite. Drinks were great! Highly recommend !

My wife and I tried Taverna 1331 last night for the first time … I have a food allergy and eating out is always hit-and-miss as to how it will be accommodated. What a SPECTACULAR meal we both enjoyed!!! The chef worked around my needs and created a delicious sauce to complement my dish while not overwhelming it with spice to compensate for the missing onion products. It was absolutely delicious! The wait staff was super and our entire experience was one we are still talking about for all the right reasons. We will most definitely be back and in the meantime will be recommending others join us!

Met a friend for dinner last night. I ordered the Wild BC Snapper and she ordered the Togarashi Spiced Tuna. We both loved the dishes. Very delicious. The atmosphere was classy and our server, Aisha, was wonderful. She even recommended we give Abruzzi a try. If it’s anywhere close to this, I’ll be heading there soon enough!

Korean FC was amazing!! We also had the taco, muchroom dumplings, burrata, and short ribs - everything was great. Lovely service and great happy hour deals
My wife and I had dinner was another couple. We chose to burn it in part because they I have the option of us bringing our own wine with a reasonable corkage fee at $30.
We ordered a number of the appetizers and they were all tasty. Our favorite was the Korean fried chicken and the muscles.
The seared tuna was probably our favorite both visually and in terms of taste. It was also of a good portion. I had the lamb shank and it was cooked perfectly. I wish the sauce had a little bit more character to it.
Would you recommend the toffee pudding as well as the churros as desserts. Overall we had amazing service and a great outing here.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We celebrated our 35th anniversary at Taverna and it was an unforgettable evening! The service was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. The owner, Rob, is an absolute gem warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about making every guest feel special. He personally came out to congratulate us and surprised us with a celebratory shot of limoncello, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The food was out of this world the fresh oysters were some of the best we’ve ever had, and the Oysters Rockefeller were just as fabulous. The braised ribs were cooked to absolute perfection, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and bursting with flavor. Every bite of our meal was amazing, and the atmosphere made it all the more special.
Highly recommend Taverna for any special occasion — or any night you want top-tier food, impeccable service, and genuine hospitality!
