Great breakfast. Not too busy(Friday morning). Food was good, service was great: relaxed and friendly .
It was our first time visiting for my housemate’s birthday breakfast, and what a fantastic discovery it turned out to be! The atmosphere is unmatched, truly the best vibes in town. The staff were incredibly kind, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had an amazing time.
The vibe is immaculate, the food AMAZING. Love this place soooo much 100000% recommend. Loved it so much I bought a toque!
This is exactly what brunch at The Bag Lady feels like, decadent, playful, and just the right amount of over-the-top. A towering French toast stack layered with peanut butter and banana, topped with a generous splash of berries and syrup, served on a scalloped plate that screams “vintage charm.”
The whole place is a cozy explosion of retro kitsch, yellow chairs, floral mugs, quirky decor, and somehow, it all works perfectly. It’s like having brunch in your cool aunt’s kitchen, if she collected mismatched treasures and believed in dessert for breakfast.
Go hungry, go curious, and don’t forget to take a picture before you dig in.
The food was amazing. We had Panini with bacon. The place was nice and cozy. The order was prepared a little late but it absoulutely worth waiting. Thanks
Used to be our go to spot but now they seat two groups of two at a table for four which is not helped when you have loud people beside you. To top it all off in the last couple years they’ve increased the price of some menu items by 10$ almost doubling the price of items. Overall, not worth it anymore.
I am fairly new to London and decided to come here for brunch with a friend. The staff was so nice and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious! I'd also like to add that the atmosphere is so fun there are so many interesting trinkets to check out! Will for sure come back soon!
Great service. Great atmosphere. In fact the atmosphere is exceptional.
I understand food cost is going up. That said, the price for a classic breakfast is the highest of the 6 to 8 spots I go to for pretty much the same style breakfast and anywhere else I've been. And though the croissant is a nice touch, the price is too much. Take from that what you will.
We went to this breakfast spot because I am transferring universities and this is the last time I would get to see one of my friends. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was adorable. That being said the staff interactions were not positive. Our server came and spoke to us once which was fine, until we paid our bill and were finishing up our coffees. I understand this is a smaller place and they were busy, but this was the last time I would see my friend so I was trying to finish my coffee and talk to her. One of the servers came over and told us they need our table and to hurry up and wrap it up. The way this woman spoke to us was snappy and rude. We understand they were busy but being told wrap it up and get out was not a positive experience. Beware if you consider going here.
If you were a kid in the 70's, this place is for you!!!!!
Restaurantji Recommends
The atmosphere and service was good. But the food its self is not for me. I had the big daddy stack and it was pretty flavourless other than the maple bacon. Hollandaise sauce is 0/10. Wouldn’t be surprised if it came right out of a packet. French toast was mediocre, 1 piece of honey ham sandwich meat. For the two of us with tip was 90$. There are many other breakfast/brunch places I would recommend before this place.
There's nothing wrong with the food, service or place it's a great little restaurant but a simple breakfast should not cost 22 dollars and 4 dollars on-top for coffee.
Had a great breakfast here this morning, service was really friendly, decor inside is so cute and the food was amazing! The coffee was also stellar, such a gem of a place to have in London.
This is always a fun stop for a decadent meal.
Love it.
