My first time here and I went with 4 friends. All was well until I walked in the door and a customer was really rude to my friend. Honestly seemed like everyone there was in a bad mood. We were sat and didn’t see a server to order for 15 mins. People who came after us were served first. We ordered and the food was very good and came fast but no one checked on us at all the entire time. A man (the owner I think?) came by to give the rest of our food and my friend asked for a side of sauce (which we’ve ordered before at the Toronto location) but he was pretty rude about it and said it was for cooking not to bring out. We finished our food and kept sitting for another 10 mins and still no one came by so we went up to the front and they told us to sit down and someone would come. This place is nice inside and the food is great so it’s pretty disappointing how terrible the service was. Also wanted to add that it wasn’t even busy and there were multiple workers.

WORST SERVICE AT AN EXPENSIVE COST. Went here tonight with my husband for our 7 year anniversary, and we are beyond disappointed. What was supposed to be a nice night for us, ended up just feeling like we were an inconvenience to the man who I’m assuming owns it. Our waitress with the short blonde hair was nice, but needs to brush up on service skills. She took our drink order and said she would give us a few more minutes to look over the menu as it was our first time here. Not even 3 mins later, a man comes out to our table and very rudely asks us what’s taking so long to decide on what we want to eat and rushes us to pick off the menu. The encounter took us both by surprise and looking back, I should have got up and walked out right then and there. After our food came out, we never saw anyone again until we had to literally flag someone down for our bill. No one came to ask if we needed another drink, if the food was okay, nothing. I will not be going back here, and I’ll be sure to tell people who said they want to try it when I said this was where we were going for our anniversary, to avoid it completely.
I forgot to mention, we drove from out of town for this. So Thankyou for putting a damper on our special night.

My partner and I always dine at Captain Boil, and it’s become our absolute favorite restaurant in London! The food is incredible, and their sauces, especially the Cajun, are the best we've ever had. This place has truly become our go-to for comfort food. Thank you for consistently providing such a great experience!

Kinda disappointed for this visit. The captain boil sauce didn't do it for me this time around. We ordered spicy, and it wasn't. The sauce seemed tasted somewhat grainy? I can make my own boil at home and with half the price. Probably won't be visiting for a while.

It was fun. Bibs & plastic gloves to eat your food. Funny we got utensils for finger foods & fingers for utensil foods. But great food at a reasonable price. Would definitely go another time.
