we spent over 400 bucks. all.the side was amazing. but the seafood. was undercooked and over cooked. and tast like fish. when we arrived we had to.sit ourself and wait ten min. They refuse to give us a bucket Or a plate For ourselves told us that we needed to put it On the table in front of us Which was Kind of disgusting. Every side that came with the captain boil was amazing. The captain boil sauce was amazing. Very upset with the owner the waiter did her best she was an amazing waiter not upset with their service just very upset with the food. We will never return to boil in London ever again
It's quite expensive. The food was okay! I was there more for my nephew
Was a terrible place when there is limited things you can eat. Nothing but deep fried and spicy food minus the plain rice. No plates no utensil, you just get a bib amd plastic gloves which are useless because the gloves are so cheap u will have holes in them before your done eating so your hands get covered in sauce anyways. If you like an experience of that of a pig eating from a slop bucket I recommend. If you like eating with dignity and not like a 5 year old child I wouldnt recommend this to anyone amd on top of that the service was terrible we got the food 30 minutes after we ordered and they never brought our drinks, the witness never came to check on us other then 1 time and when we asked for my brother's birthday cake that we brought it was another 20 minutes. By far the worst dinning experience I ever had in my life to date.
Food was amazing and abundant! Had delicious leftovers for days!
The seafood fried rice was surprisingly spicy—much more than expected. If you have a sensitive stomach or conditions like gastritis, don’t try.
Alright so, having been to a captains boil in Ottawa and then coming to this one in London, I can safely say this restaurant does have some great tasting seafood.
We ordered seafood rice, 1 pound of mussels, and it also came with fries. At first I thought it was a strange choice to have fries and rice at the same time but it turned out to be a great idea.
The food itself was tasty, that rice was better then any rice I've ever had. The mussels we had were tender and covered in enough flavoring to make me want more.
My only tiny gripe with this place was the service, we waited so long for that delicious rice to come to our table that we thought it wasn't part of the meal. I'll give them the doubt though because it was busy.
Overall, if you want beer in your belly and some fantastic seafood along side it. The Captains Boil will hit the mark.
So so bad

Best place ever
If I could give less than one star, I would my partner, and I came from out of town to enjoy a seafood boil, and for the first time ever, we were genuinely disappointed. Walked in and stood there for about five minutes without being greeted, and then a man (which we believe is the owner) just pointed at a table and told us that that’s where we were going to sit. Later they brought us a menu did not explain any kind of prices or anything to us as I mentioned to them that this was our first time there and when we had questions, they seemed agitated. We were served water and paper cups and given no utensils when it came time for them to service our food. The angry man just came and set it on our table and then walked away for a good minute while we sat there confused he then later approached us and tried to explain the process of eating the food boil but was very ignorant mentioning that we can’t be dumping the boils OR ELSE we will be losing flavor…. WHAT FLAVOUR?? The shrimp was terrible. The crawfish was one of the worst. My partner has ever had. He said lobster was super rubbery, and the crab was very fishy..
Horrible service & literally no flavour.
Unfortunately, will not be returning and will not be recommending either. If anything I will deter people away..
I’m not one to do reviews, good or bad but for Over $200 dollars we expected much better service and genuine seafood boil. KD is better.
4 of us came sat down waited a bit and then 4 paper cups of water were served. Our orders were taken about 10 minutes later. We ordered 2 shrimp captians boil sauce with 2 corn med heat. 1 headless shrimp garlic flavor corn and rice. 1 snow crab 2corn. 1 side of fries. Everything is served except 1 order of shrimp with captians boil sauce. So the girls decided to just share thank goodness as they did not like the sauce it was very garlic tasting. The rice did not show up and when asked it was brought for sure not light ,soft and fluffy. More like hard and cold. The garlic shrimp looked like gren and brown vomit in the bag. By the time you peel the shrimp it's cold and rubbery and flavorless unless you dip in the vomit. The snow crab was just ok nothing great. But was not worth the hype or the money.
Food is kinda ok but not something I really enjoyed, customer service is not that great. Hope things will get better in the future.
Food is delicious. Best shrimps I’ve ever tried. The service is really fast (we waited 2 minutes to be attended and about 10 minutes to be served). They have variated options, but I’ve always had shrimps with captain’s boil sauce mild spicy and I don’t change it because it’s just awesome!… if you don’t like spicy, you can always ask for garlic sauce option.
