Was there for less than five minutes, forgot to pay for a drink. It was an honest mistake, and the bartender came and found us. Regardless of how much I apologized, and paid DOUBLE for my mistake, the bartender screamed and screamed and called us awful profanities. She was just so incredibly rude. Staff like that should not be employed at a nice establishment.

I got PUSHED out by a bouncer because I closed my eyes for 3 seconds at a table. I wasn’t even drunk, simply so bored I had to close my eyes. It was so dead & empty in there. I can see why though, everyone else probably got kicked out!
As the bouncer literally PUSHED me to the door with his hand on my shoulder, I asked what the reason I was being asked to leave was. And for simply asking (in the most polite way possible too), his bouncer buddy told me not to create a scene, for simply asking why I’m being told to leave🤩🤩🤩🤩 like pls give me the rules & regulations of this place & tell me I can’t close my eyes for 3 seconds beforehand. Or at the least EXPLAIN why I’m being told to leave.

The server giving us our food was wonderful. However, one of the bartenders was blatantly rude and ignored us when we were trying to order. When we made a request, she showed attitude and made us beg please prior to handing us limes we DIDNT ask for. Rude behaviour from a bartender is only warranted for a rude request, but we were simply asking for a chase with the drinks we JUST bought prior to her ignoring us. Disgusting behaviour.
ADDITIONALLY, while we were having our frustrating experience at the bar, some of our friends got kicked out for resting their eyes at a table. They were not drunk. The bouncers would not hear any explanations for why their eyes were closed 😭 They used physical force to shove them out the door and accused them of making a scene while they were asking what was going on.

I visited London last night with my cousins and brother, and this place was a total letdown. We waited in line only for the bouncer to refuse my cousin entry because he had an American ID. He’s genuinely from the U.S. and legal, but the bouncer didn’t even bother to ask for a second ID or any proof.
I understand it’s a student bar and that fakes are common, but come on! When I asked why he couldn’t come in he kept saying, “You three can go in, but not him,” as if I would just abandon my cousin.
We found other bars nearby and had so much fun, but this experience here was disappointing and frustrating.
Shoutout to bartender Anna, who saved my friend from starving! After waiting over an hour at our table with no order taken, we approached her and she promptly resolved the issue.
5-star rating for her exceptional work ethic during last Saturday evening.
