I had ordered the grilled cheese. When we went up to the pick up bar, a women was distributing the orders even though it was only my friend and I waiting for our food and the restaurant wasn’t very busy (10 people max). There was already a grilled cheese with a soup on the shelf and we had told her our order numbers. She took my receipt and picked up the two halves of the grilled cheese from the plate that was already on the shelf with her bare hands and put it on a smaller plate and handed it to me. And then a new grilled cheese was put on the plate with the soup. I was kind of disappointed my sandwhich wasn’t freshly made as the cheese that was oozing out was cold and hardened. But the part that I was very taken a back by was that she wasn’t wearing gloves or hadn't used an napkin to pick up the sandwich and was touching the food while collecting receipts but ok fine it’s just paper I guess. But then one of the food staff told her that he didn’t want her around certain areas of the kitchen because “her hair was getting all over the place”. Additionally he had seen her touching my food with her bare hands and said “maybe you shouldn’t do that” and told to wash her hands and she didn’t quite understand what the big deal was. During the hour and a half my friend and I were there, she was going around the tables, wiping them down with a wet cloth, picking things up from the floor and keeping the tray sorting/garbage area tidy which made me feel a bit grossed out that she had touched my sandwich without gloves. I have socially anxiety so I didn’t want to be rude or say again but hopefully they see this and can train/remind their staff to wear gloves when handling food if they’re going back and forth cleaning the tables, floors and garbage.

Food is good but a little expensive, though 10% off for grad students. The place is quite busy most of the time so service can be a little slow. Atmosphere is always lively, wth both indoor and outdoor seating (as weather permits).

Always love coming here - my favourite spot on campus! I've had the burger, fries, mozza sticks, and hot dog which have all been good. Very reasonably priced. Can get a little loud especially in the evening but otherwise, a great spot.

Ordered the Gyros here today, below par quality with above average charge. Stop calling that a daily special bro, not again. This place is generally pricy, even considering the 10% discount. One of the biggest reasons students come here is because of its convenience, I mean by distance.

I hear that the items here are hit-and-miss. Maybe there do exist some good ones? We will see.

Cool spot to have a pint on the patio or inside. I wish they still had Hoegaarden on tap though!

Fries are pretty solid hut my face was literally dripping grease afterwards ?‍♂️

The caesar wrap was solid but they need to be less stingy with the dressing

Always love coming here for karaoke, and falling to the ground on stage on purpose multiple times may not've been the best decision?, but it was fun.I'm outspoken about the fact that the food here is not good, but I've been surprised recently by the vegetarian/vegan options.I tried the larger vegan poutine (7.4/10). Good, tastes like poutine, but there was an aftertaste almost like I had slept all night with my mouth open, and I was tasting that "dry" taste your mouth. Very similar.Black Bean Burger (7.7/10). Higher quality bun, a little more flavor with potential, some sort of sauce would've caused this to score higher. It gets points for having guacamole on it, which caught me off guard but added to it, not tasting dry. I put no extra condiments on it and just had the standard pickles, lettuce & tomato on it, and I felt it was fine. I think it would pair well with the sweet potato fries, which I have not tried yet.Tried the black bean burger, so naturally, I had to also try the Veggie Burger (6.4/10). Not as much flavor as the black bean burger, no guacamole, and dry. I put no condiments on it either, and this would've used some. Also, I tried some of my friend's onion rings (6.2/10). They're very salty and would've benefitted from it's own sauce like an aioli and a better badder to have better integrity from the bite.

Vegetarian options: Surprisingly, the best thing here.

Bartenders and servers are nice, but the man who hosts Karaoke is so aggressive and rude - plus he's always too drunk to do his job.

Wow surprised because GC lager taste great! To be honest, i didnt really expect much because its a pub in the school, but actually they serve a great beer here. Better than most pubs outside the campus

Good place for a meal on campus. Recommend the hot and honey crispy sandwich with criss cross fries. Breakfast isn't bad either!
