Tried this place for the first time and it was amazing, the portion size was huge, the food was delicious, one of the best afghan food I have tried in London. I would recommend everyone to try it out!

We get take out once every few months. The baby is eating, luckily I spotted this disgusting hair in the salad and prevented it from being eaten. All $20 of food was put in the garbage because I now can't trust their ability to handle food safely. Do better.

I ate at The Kebab King this evening. Its location is Oxford St and Wonderland Rd, across the street from the Costco.As I walked in through the entrance, I spotted a “bed” along one of the walls. It was neatly covered by blankets and pillows. These blankets and pillows seemed characteristic of the Middle East. This makes sense because it’s listed as an Afghan restaurant on Google Maps. Customers use this “bed” to wait comfortably for their orders.I ordered a Tandoori chicken kebab, which is one of their King Meals. It came with marinated and red chicken, a ton of rice, Afghan naan, and a salad. Both the rice and the salad had a mysterious, brown spice.I then had to tackle dessert. The only two options were baklava and Firni (a creamy pudding made from ground rice and milk that was mixed with cardamom). I had Firni.The Kebab King is certainly the king of kebabs. They deliver food that will not only fill you but also satiate your savoury cravings.

We go there all the time as the food is great BUT they gave us less skewers than noted on the menu. We ordered to go and found this out when we we got home. Next day he refused to rectify the issue when my wife told him about it. I had to drive down to the restaurant to get some sort of refund. No apologies, he started to argue but eventually he gave me $5. It's silly that he would lose a customer for 5 bucks.
