The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - London South

The food was fine and admittedly we were there at 8pm so we did understand that there might be less staff on. However the service was abysmal. Drinks weren't refilled and when our waitress couldn't be bothered to come by, we tried to get the attention of the bus boy who was pretending we did not exist so he didn't have to get involved. Given the price point I was incredibly disappointed.

Stopped at south London "The Keg" on the way back from an out of town funeral. Amazing experience. Beautiful modern yet cozy building. Seated in just a few minutes despite having no reservation and parking lot almost full. Clean facility, welcoming staff. Food was great - hot and delicious - and just the right amount of wait time. Server, Steven, was over the top good. Pleasant, efficient, very presentable, and discreet - obviously highly experienced. I suggest you give this Keg a try next time on 401 going by. Literal worst service I have ever have. Aaron was not great.

Food was inedible and taken off my bill.

Mashed potatoes were gooey and not at all garlic mashed, appetizer was going to come after our mains were delivered, salad was soggy, steak tasted like literal charcoal no other flavouring and was over cooked.

Manager or chef I guess was super nice. Wonderful service on his behalf.

The keg never seems to disappoint us, my wife's mashed potatoes were not as warm as she would like them and they immediately fixed the issue. We'll worth the money for a quiet night out without the kids.

Took the wife out for her birthday last night and unfortunately did not enjoy the meal. For a restaurant whom specializes in prime rib, the meat was just mid. It lacked flavor and of the 18ozs, almost 2 ounces were grizzle and inedible. The au jus was served cold. Made a big mistake trying the mushroom rice ? but that portion was exchanged for garlic mashed potatoes which was better than the rice but nothing special. Mashed potatoes with skins. Meh. The meal was served with no fresh vegetables and some gross dried onion crisps which did not compliment the meat. The salmon dish was ok, again, nothing special about it. Fries were replaced instead of the mushroom rice and got a total of 14 French fries which were not cut fresh and just a frozen deep fried plain fry. After the meal, a Billy miner slice of pie came for the birthday girl which the keg claims is complimentary on your birthday, but huge shock when the bill came and we were charged for it on the bill ? She would have preferred something else for dessert had we known we would be charged for something complimentary. Overall, super disappointing meal and will not be returning. Such a shame. The prices you pay to eat there are simply not worth the money for the quality of food you receive.

I had medium rare 20 oz Ribeye Steak. It was done to perfection. Also, Mash potatoes were the real deal and not one of those out of the box, pre-frozen mash.

Very disappointed at the asparagus. I got 4 pieces in total as my side. Waitet was nice and friendly but keg should be ashamed of serving such a poor portion for a $60 meal. Steak was ok. Wasn't cooked medium as I had asked but ok and it was late so I didn't complain.

Prime rib over done it was my 65th birthday dinner with my daughter and didn’t offer any discount while they brought me another slice 6 minutes later

Being my first time here for my anniversary. It's nice to finally get great service and unbelievable food! Atmosphere is high class but don't feel like you need a 3 piece suit. Just don't wear joggers
