They serve their tacos in those zigzag metal holders with no plate underneath. So when you pick up one taco, if it hasn’t already touched the table, every bit of filling that escapes tumbles through the gaps of the outside tables like it’s auditioning for Gravity. Cheese, salsa, guac… gone. My table looked like the aftermath of a food fight, and I debated scooping half the meal toppings off bare wood like a raccoon.
It’s 2025. Plates are not new technology. If I wanted to eat tacos over a grid, I’d go stand on a storm drain.
