When we received the notice that this venue was closing we immediately booked for Sunday Brunch (the last). We have had some lovely Sunday visits over time and wanted a final opportunity to enjoy the view and excellent food. Nothing disappointed and we were able to thank the wonderful staff and wish them well in their new adventure.
A last minute reservation on a rainy Sunday was well worth it! My longtime friend from BC was in town. She called and mentioned the cafe so I made a reservation online. It was wonderful to catch up on a rainy day and admire the outdoors from the large windows-- the courthouse, fountain and the landscape from above. The fixed price of $34 pp was awesome and well worth the brunch $. Dainty scones and mini muffins to a lovely smoked salmon Eggs Benedict,, a mimosa and coffee. The pacing was perfect Thank-you. It was a lovely experience to share with my friend! Cathy (London)
We were supposed to be there for London Licious but that was not brought up at all to us. I ordered the fresh made Smashburger with the pickles and tomatoes on the side however when it came if that was a fresh Burger I'm 160 years old. It was dry and tasted like every other Frozen Burger you buy plus the tomatoes and pickles were on the burger which ruined that flavor. The french fries were lovely golden brown but the minute you bite into them they were still raw and mushy. The menu also states that they have Pepsi products which is perfect as I'm allergic to Coke products they don't have Pepsi products so I had to order an iced tea. The iced tea was a fresh made iced tea, no sugar the tasted like the cheapest tea bags they could find, reused it with dish water took one Sip and actually had to spit it back out. My dining companion tried it as well and even she gagged on it. Our waiter was non-existent and when he did finally show up, you could tell he did not want to be there that day. He asked us if we wanted the dessert menu 20 minutes later he brings us a single piece of paper with five dessert items on it at that point we just wanted out of there. It was a complete waste of $76 and I've had better meals from fast food joints. NEVER AGAIN
Breathtaking dinner by the water. The food is to die for. Would surely recommend to anyone visiting London. Includes free access to the museum.

Packed house! Enjoyed an evening with a full restaurant overlooking the fork of the Thames, such a pretty view. Sampled the shrimp, Korean chicken and the smoked salmon, all delicious.
My wife had the fish tacos which she told me were good, and they musta been because she didn't offer any!
I had the steak which was overcooked, but still tender and yummy, and I was hungry so I devoured it without complaint. Excellent table service even though there was a full house.

First time at the River Room and it did not disappoint! The view was beautiful, the food was delicious, the service was on point and the value was very worth it. We will be back. Thank you.
Amazing venue. Beautiful views and ambiance. Quiet and quaint setting. Went for a birthday celebration brunch. Great service. Food was outstanding. A tad pricy but well worth the money!!! Saddened to hear you'll be closing in September. Quite a shame ?
We chose this venue for our Wedding Anniversary. It was a great experience, with just the right Ambience. Our window seat had a beautiful view of the River. All-in-all a very rewarding experience.

A wonderful atmosphere and our server was very proactive however the food quality was sub-par.
We ordered the smoked salmon as an appetizer which tasted too fishy compared to sushi grade. Then we ordered the smash burger and the chicken, mushroom, asparagus crêpe; the smash burgers toppings were great but the beef didn’t taste that good, the crêpe overall was very mediocre especially the chicken. The filling was also very watery and the mushroom was tasteless, we ended up leaving it after a few bites.
Came here for the reviews, very disappointed in the quality of the food.

I was very disappointed that the butternut squash pasta was not on the restaurant menu but was on the on line menu. I had the Mahi, Mahi and while the fish was excellent I was unable to eat the carrot. I couldn't even cut it with my knife so that only left rice & fish. The rice was good but less of that and another eatable veggie would have been much more agreeable. It was my sister's birthday and we told the waiter but nothing was offered to her except far too expensive desserts. I believe some improvements could be made. Also, I understand you would use paper over the white table cloth to prevent having to do more laundry but my water glass condensation caused my glass to stick to the paper and I had to hold the paper down to pick up my glass.
The room is very pleasant, with a really good view. The service was without fault. My only criticism bears on the chicken bites in gochujang sauce that my guest and I shared as a first course: the chicken was hard and dry. Everything else was just fine.
Pleasantly surprised. Great service, food , brunch on Sunday. Lobster roll, salad and potato.... delicious. View was just lovely from the window onto the river.
