I was just going in for a quick tea to
Wait for someone as I was early, and decided to try the iced raspberry lemonade. It’s the first time that I’ve had a drink like that that, as a diabetic didn’t require a large amount of insulin afterward. It was so good. I then ordered the lightly toasted everything bagel was lightly smoked salmon, cream cheese, pickled onion and greens to go. Admittedly I was very sad when I finished it later as it was amazing. (I’d have taken a picture but forgot as I was so focused on how delicious it was!)
James has created a quaint, cozy, tea room where you can have a conversation with someone on the other side of the table even if you’re hearing impaired like I am. He was extremely polite and kind and I will definitely be back and bringing people with me.
Cute little spot on the up and up! My friend and I stopped by here for a late lunch over the weekend and were pleasantly surprised with the incredible service, food and atmosphere. The owner was super friendly and it sounds like there’s great things coming! We’ll definitely be back!
Was passing by. Was hungry. Got curious. Walked into the cozziest tea cafe / restaurant. Classy. Peaceful. Delicious.
My husband likes a particular tea that we can only get here...we drive in from Burlington
I have been to many High Teas and this was one of the top. Chef made tea sandwiches, scones, and sweets, not to mention a full range of beautiful teas to choose from. It was a wonderful way to celebrate my mother‘s birthday. Fantastic service and atmosphere. Best part is it’s in little London Ontario Canada. I highly recommend recommended!!
The Tea Lounge is a lovely little gem in London. I had the English Garden Tea and it was spectacular. Precisely brewed hot tea, expertly crafted sandwiches, buttery scones and homemade blueberry/raspberry jam…perfection!
This place is now under NEW OWNERS! Same great ambiance... but is NO LONGER EXCLUSIVELY vegan. But... they can still accommodate vegetarian, vegan and gluten free.
I'm gluten free and everything I had was simply excellent! The bread from the finger sandwiches was so fluffy... i honestly couldn't believe it was gluten free! The scones were very delicious.
The loose leaf tea selection was amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon tea from start to finish! Highly recommend!
Great experience at The Tea Lounge. Went with my mom for Garden Tea and the food was incredible and the tea was delish. Served in beautiful china cups. The owners are delightful. Will definitely go again! Thanks Kirsten and James!! Congrats!
A very classy spot with helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff! I have been there twice, the first time for a tea flight (like a wine flight for tea) and the second for tea and scones. Both were lovely experiences, the curated organic tea selections provided a lot of options for all kinds of tea enjoyers, and the preparation made it clear the owners were serious about creating quality tea experiences.
I'd strongly recommend this place if you are interested in trying something classy and charming. The owner James is a tea expert, and has lots of valuable insights on tea preparation and the nuances of the different flavors.
Perf3ct relaxing experience, too many teas to chose from, but I'm sure you will love what you chose.
Fresh baked scones, home made jam and fresh wipes cream is so delicious.

The Tea Lounge – A soulful tea haven
If you're looking for a tea experience that goes beyond the ordinary, The Tea Lounge is the kind of place that welcomes you with heart. From the moment you walk in, the owners greet you warmly and guide you through the menu, highlighting the day's specials with genuine care. That personal touch makes the visit feel intimate and unforgettable.
My friend and I followed their suggestions and tried the iced teas of the day, blueberry lemonade and mango tango. The verdict? Absolutely delicious! Refreshing, well-balanced, and bursting with flavor. No regrets—just pure enjoyment and the desire to come back for more.
I don’t remember exactly what my friend ordered, but it was a chicken sandwich that she said was incredibly tasty. As for me, I went for an everything bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon. Pure bliss! Every bite was a little moment of glory. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the preparation was thoughtful.
We had the chance to witness their special tea service: steaming teapots and beautifully arranged sandwich trays. Everything was served with care and without rush, honoring the ritual of tea in the most graceful way.
Though the space is small, it feels open and comfortable. The atmosphere is calm—perfect for chatting, reading, or simply savoring the moment. They also offer a wide variety of loose-leaf teas you can buy to take home, which makes the experience linger even longer.
This restaurant should be on your list of places to visit in London.
The staff were very welcoming, accommodating and knowledgeable. Lovely interior that was cool for an afternoon out of the heat or if you prefer the outdoors the porch is also an option.
We actually enjoyed our afternoon treats on the lawn. Under the umbrella we had homemade raspberry lemonade along with 1 vegan & 1 gluten free scone, homemade jam and whipped topping to suit our diet requirements. We enjoyed our visit from beginning to end.
Well done.
Love their patio, best matcha latte in town :)
I had a lovely lunch at the Tea Lounge under the new ownership, and it was a truly delightful experience! The atmosphere remains warm and inviting, with thoughtful touches that make you want to linger. The menu offers fresh, flavourful options, and everything we tried was beautifully presented and delicious. The service was attentive and friendly — you can really feel the care the new owners are putting into every detail. A perfect spot for a relaxing lunch or an afternoon tea. Wishing them great success — I’ll definitely be back!
The ladies from our family went for afternoon tea for my cousin's birthday and we had a wonderful experience! The tea was excellent, the food was delicious and the service was exemplary.
