I had a lovely lunch tea with my 8 year old Granddaughter, her best friend and her Grandma. There was a huge selection of teas to choose from. The 3 tier lunch of assorted finger sandwiches, scones and sweeties were very delicious. Our server was wonderful; very knowledgeable about the different types of teas and very friendly. It was a fun experience for all.

My girlfriends and I booked a reservation here for our first ever afternoon tea and we could not have been happier! The space is so cozy and welcoming, and all of the ladies there were knowledgeable, helpful and kind. The tea was phenomenal, the food (all plant-based) was to die for. I say this as someone who does not gravitate towards plant-based foods, EVERYTHING was delicious. There was a slight mix-up with our payment (they had accidentally charged me for one less person) and it was fixed almost immediately. Will 100% be back for seconds, thirds, fourths, etc. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience for our first afternoon tea!!

I loved finding a fully vegan place on my trip to London, and one with lots of GF options for my celiac friend. The food was simple but good. The sandwich could have used more substance (it really was something I could and often do make at home) but the coconut based cream cheese was delicious and the baked goods were a standout. A little expensive for what you get, but the vibe and people were also great. I don't live in London, but I know the friend I visited with will definitely be coming back here on a regular basis! I would go again.

This place was amazing!!!! I went here for a birthday party and it was so much fun. I loved how everything was plant based too, so my friends with allergies and intolerances didn't have to worry! Michelle, the owner, was highly knowledgeable in tea, and all the staff were incredibly nice. I definitely found my new favourite spot and will come back again and again.

Very cute place inside ! However I was a little disappointed to find out it was plant based, when reviewing their website there was no indication of it being plant based. I don’t mind plant based food however my friend that I was treating for her birthday is not a fan.The table beside ours said they were also surprised that it was plant based. We spent over 100.00 and there were only two tiny desserts and no fresh fruit. It’s a cute local spot however for the price I personally feel there are many better options.Vegetarian options: This is a vegan restaurant

Came here with my wife for some afternoon tea. Unfortunately, they didn't have any Darjeeling, which I thought was odd, but I asked them for an alternative. The astute server offered me a Nepalese alternative, which was really great. My wife got a latte which was also good. And their scones were amazing! I highly recommend people to check this place out!

The Tea Lounge is one of my favourite places in London and is probably this city’s best kept secret. With its excellent service, delicious plant-based offerings and wonderful experience, I always love coming here.As someone who was born and raised in ‘the other London’, I hold afternoon tea pretty near and dear to my heart and have pretty high standards, but The Tea Lounge exceeds my expectations time and time again. Some may consider it a little pricey, but THIS is a true afternoon tea experience (minus the champagne ?), and is worth every penny. Also highly recommended as a great date spot! ?Vegetarian options: This place is fully plant-based

I so wanted this to be a lovely experience for my daughters birthday. Coming from out of town, I relied on the images and write up on the website that did not say the afternoon tea was plant based. When I shared my surprise about it being plant based/vegan to the server, she shared they don’t publicly promote it otherwise it would put people off coming. Why hide it and mislead people? The sandwiches were fine for me, but not for my teenage kids who were expecting similar to other afternoon teas that we have enjoyed for special occasions.I ordered the birthday girl the full afternoon tea which, with only two sweets - one chocolate and a small biscuit, did not match or measure up to what is shown on the website and yet was $10 more expensive than the Garden Tea that I ordered ?I shared my disappointment with staff as I paid the $123.00 bill and was told that she’d mention it to the owner to update the website. There was no attempt or offer to make the situation right in any way.I’m all for vegan options, but not making that clear on the website is misleading. And not matching what is on offer left me with more disappointment than satisfaction. Thank goodness I didn’t get the full tea for three.

Every time I’ve been to The Tea Lounge has been a great experience! The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, and there are lots of plant based drink and snack options to choose from for those with dietary restrictions. The owner is a tea sommelier and will happily recommend you any of her 50+ types of tea to try based on what you’re looking for in a tea. The high tea experience is a favourite of mine, the food is so delicious and very well presented!

As a surprise for my sister's 70th I booked 4 of us for afternoon tea. Our waitress Katherine was lovely and knowledgeable and we all had such a great time! Highly recommend this spot for a special occasion and an anytime break in lovely surroundings.Vegetarian options: This is a vegan restaurant BUT BEFORE YOU SCROLL ON, none of us are vegan and the sandwiches and sweets (not to mention the warm scones) are divine ~ step outside your comfort zone & try it
