I recently had a very disappointing experience at Tim Hortons, and I feel compelled to address the unacceptable behavior of some of the staff members, particularly the younger ones. Their lack of basic customer service skills was appalling.
I understand that working in fast food can be stressful, but there is no excuse for rudeness. Simple politeness and respect are not optional; they are fundamental requirements for any customer-facing role. The way some of the staff spoke to customers, including myself, was disrespectful and dismissive. It seemed as though they had no interest in being there, and their attitude reflected that.
If these individuals are so unhappy with their jobs that they can't even manage a basic level of courtesy, then perhaps they should consider alternative employment. Customers should not be subjected to their bad moods and unprofessional conduct. It is unacceptable to treat paying customers with such disdain.
Tim Hortons needs to address this issue and provide adequate training to its staff on customer service and communication. A positive and respectful environment is essential for a successful business, and the current level of service is simply unacceptable.

Worse customer service, employees are very very rude. I wish I can talk to the manager of the store. You should not leave the store without any management. Every single time when I go there, I see the employee is fighting with customers.

My opinion on this Tim Hortons location is so strong, I needed to post another review to appreciate the staff. This time I was served by a Vani I believe. Even though I ordered 5 coffees, it took no longer than 3 minutes to get my order. Very impressed with the staff here. 5 stars. Keep up the good work!

Very rude staff, always long line ups, food is horrible, never enough cream cheese on my bagel. A&w next door $1 organic coffee all the way.
I bought a donut here, and the employee was wearing gloves while taking my order on the computer and handling payment. After that, they used the same gloves to pick up the donut and put it in a paper bag. It was clear to me that the gloves were to keep their hands clean, not to maintain the hygiene of my food. I could only take it, turn around, and throw it in the trash. I won’t be going back.

Worst Experience!!! I went there with my friends just after 8:45PM. Nobody was there, So I quickly went to the counter, 2 staff were talking to each other and never even looked at me. I had to call those staff to come and take my order. One African lady came to take my order, and I told a white hot chocolate with expresso. She told that we can't do that, we are about to close!!! Seriously??? About to close? What kind of excuse is that??? There are more than 10 minutes left, If they are open they should serve people. If they can't serve close 10 minutes early then. Don't fool people...
And that lady's attitude is so bad. Her tone of speaking was so rude.

This day I had a bad experience with the person who takes the orders, extremely rude, I greeted her twice and she ignored me and took my order in a very bad way and then the person who takes the orders relatively threw away my order, should you train the staff with customer service courses, or is this a case of discrimination for being Latina?
