Stopped in for breakfast on the weekend and I'm glad we did!
Portions are decent, prices are fair and the food was made perfectly.
Breakfast poutine was a big hit, and the eggs bene were bomb ?
Will definitely be back!

This was the first time here and we were not disappointed! The food was incredible....so tasty and fresh. Hubby had the Breakfast Poutine Skillet and said it was fantastic. Perfect mix of hollandaise sauce, bacon, sausage onion and lattice fries, topped with 3 eggs. He loves skillets and was over the moon with this one. I had the healthy breakfast with one egg, half an avocado , whole grain toast and fresh fruit. Just enough food, so fresh and tasty. We will definitely be back!

Go there every Saturday morning for breakfast, the food is good, the service is generally good, but I've eaten lunch there too and found the food to be very good, reasonably priced and I didn't leave hungry. I will continue to go there and recommend you give it a try.

The food is over burnt and taste bitter. Told the waiter about it, but he kept yelling at me which is so rude. I ate some nice steak in Europe and Canada, even in the first class on the plane. I’ve never eaten a burnt steak like this. After I told the waiter about it, he didn’t even look at me and ignored me. I didn’t question the quality of the steak, but he just wanted me to eat it or leave it?

I never leave reviews, but I felt I had to. Hopefully the restaurant sees it and does better. Went to Skillets restaurant for breakfast with my husband and two small children around 8am on a Saturday morning. The food was overcooked and dry. I had to return the bacon as it was rock hard. The waiter seemed less than impressed. They didn’t offer a kids menu although their sign says it’s a “real family restaurant” so we had to buy a regular meal for the kids which they than charged us to split the meal. For 70$, really disappointed in the food and experience. So experience for the low quality and service received.

This will be long winded but I have to get something off my chest. I am sure there are lots of people that have gone and enjoyed Skillets Restaurant on Dundas by Trails End Market. My experience yesterday wasn't great at all. Don't get me wrong, the food was tasty, that wasn't the issue. The issue was the supposed "gentleman" that served us. I went there with my daughter and my ever so sweet 2 1/2 year old granddaughter at 8:30 am. Even as we walked in he wasn't overly welcoming and there were only 2 other tables of people. My granddaughter has autism so we always try to keep her in a happy and stress free environment. She was sitting next to me on the bench looking out the window, jumping(not major as she is 2 1/2) and making her excited sounds as she does when she is happy. No screaming, crying or anything bad. The server looked annoyed. When our food came, I passed our angel to my daughter to put in the highchair to eat and MY FAULT- when passing her she knocked over my coffee and got it all on me, the table and the floor below us. He came very upset. I apologized said it was an accident and also that she was autistic- not that I should have to even tell him that. All he did was wipe the table, didn't give me anything to wipe my pants or the chair and then proceeded to tell us that he is NOT mopping the floor today. I was beyond upset. They will NOT be getting my business again. This was my first and last time going

I had by far the best club house sandwich. Even being that it was take out.
I have been here a number of times, always love the food.
I have suggested Skillets to a number of people who also very much enjoyed the food and service

Went for the breakfast buffet this morning. My wife and I greatly enjoyed it. The service was spectacular, and the food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the potato pancakes and sausages.

This has to be the dirtiest place I’ve ever been in. The rudest staff. When you go to a place look at the washroom. If they are dirty the rest of the place will be too. When you go in and all the stalls are disgusting. You know you should never eat here. When brought up to the man. He said. Well don’t eat off the bathroom floor. The server said you should show the cleaner. Not my job. First and last time ever going. Will never suggest. I hope the health unit comes and shuts you down I have never been so disappointed or disgusted in my life

I am writing this as I’m leaving there restaurant. It was amazing!!! Will be coming again. I had the Meat Lovers Omelette, one of the best I’ve had in awhile!! My partner had the Sausage Skillet and he loved it just as me. 10/10 recommend stopping by this restaurant for some breakfast!
